Conor McGregor released a hilarious ad for his Proper Twelve whiskey brand, where the Irish UFC star parodied the announcement ceremonies held by tech giants Apple.

McGregor, 34, hasn’t set foot inside the Octagon since his gruesome broken leg against Dustin Poirier in 2021 and it seems like he’s been focusing a lot on the Proper Twelve recently.

In addition to starring in the latest Road House remake and agreeing to be a trainer on the UFC’s upcoming Ultimate Fighter, McGregor also helped develop a new ‘apple schnapps’ for his brand of whiskey and advertised extraordinarily for it.

In the hilarious ad, the Irishman said: ‘Ladies and gentlemen, every once in a while a revolutionary product comes along that changes everything.

“In 2018 we introduced Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey, a rich, smooth blend of triple distilled malt and grain aged for four years in bourbon casks.”

‘Well now we have a revolutionary new product. It’s Proper No. Twelve Irish Apple, a blend of award-winning Proper No. Twelve Irish whiskey with notes of crisp and juicy Irish apple.’

“Ladies and gentlemen, there is no other apple schnapps that tastes like this,” adds McGregor. “It’s a bit of Irish apple magic that can only come from a storybook distillery.

‘And with several convenient bottle sizes, Proper No. Twelve Irish Apple is now available for weddings, funerals, fight nights and a round of poolside shots.

Best of all, ladies and gentlemen, it’s on the shelves right now, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. How do you like apples?’

Throughout the video, McGregor can be seen wearing a black turtleneck, similar to the one Apple co-founder Steve Jobs used to wear, while parodying the tech giants’ presentation style.

The American businessman regularly appeared at Apple’s unveiling ceremonies for its latest products and appeared in a similar turtleneck quite often.

Jobs, who was the co-founder, chairman and CEO of Apple, died at the age of 56 after going into respiratory arrest in 2011.

McGregor, who hasn’t fought in almost two years, is preparing to return to the Octagon after it was confirmed that he will be a trainer in the upcoming ‘Ultimate Fighter’ series.

There were big doubts as to whether McGregor would ever return to the sport, but it looks like he will return later this year against Michael Chandler.

Prior to their fight, the pair will be the coaches of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ season 32, a tag team knockout tournament for young fighters that will take place from May 30 to August 15.

In a special announcement made on Saturday, White said: “We have just confirmed the coaches for season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter. Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler will go head-to-head as coaches of The Ultimate Fighter.
