Coles shopper transforms scratched cookware in seconds with $9 purchase: ‘I’ve never seen anything go so fast’

A cleaning professional has wowed thousands by revealing an easy way to remove kitchen dish marks with an affordable product from Coles.
Many customers initially believed that cutlery scratches on plates and bowls were irreversible, but clever TikToker has shown how to remove unwanted marks in seconds.
The woman behind the username @tinktoktink used The Pink Stuff ‘miracle’ cleansing paste with a Scrub Daddy sponge and shared the results in 20 seconds. video posted on monday.
Since then, the short clip titled ‘refresh your plates’ has been viewed more than 2.7 million times, impressing thousands of Australians.

The woman’s white dishes appeared to be covered in scratches, but the marks were found to be non-permanent (left, plate before cleaning). Using The Pink Stuff and a Coles Scrub Daddy, the marks vanished in less than 30 seconds (right, plate after cleaning).
The Pink Stuff has been making waves for its ability to remove super tough stains, dirt, grease and grime, leaving surfaces sparkling clean without hours of scrubbing, all while using 99 percent natural ingredients.
In the video, the woman dips the sponge into the paste, then scrubs the scarred white plate.
After a few seconds the gray areas slowly started to lighten and after a quick rinse under the tap the board looks shiny and new again.
While the video is sped up, it likely took no more than 30 seconds for the home task to complete.
The video quickly caught the attention of the masses, with many wanting to try the lesser-known trick for themselves.
‘Hope for?? Aren’t they scratches? one person commented, another jokingly said: “Tiktoks daily reminder that my house is not really worn, I’m unknowingly dirty.”
A third added: “Doing this tonight, these scratches have always driven me crazy!”
‘I’ve never seen anything run so fast!’ another wrote.

Mrs. Hinch-approved paste can be used on most surfaces, including pots and pans.
The Pink Stuff has been popular with thousands, including cleaning queen Sophie Hinchliffe, aka Mrs. Hinch, who praised the paste on her Instagram page in 2021 with more than four million followers, calling it a miracle.
‘Grab your can of Pink Stuff and start removing all those tough marks on the inside of the oven and glass,’ said Ms Hinch.
‘Or dab a decent amount of the paste onto the dirty bottom of a saucepan. Leave a bit and then work your [sponge] in circular motions to work the paste into the pan and then rub off any burnt residue.’
The Pink Stuff is produced by Star Brands, a British company dedicated to designing cleaning products that allow you to clean your home with ease.
The product can also be used to clean oven doors, pots and pans, slippers, car tires, and sinks.
