Christy Turlington took the rare step this week of waxing lyrical about her husband, 56-year-old filmmaker Ed Burns.
The 55-year-old model posted a message on Instagram to thank the actor for launching a new podcast in honor of his late mother Molly.
The Vogue cover girl included several photos of Ed at work and at play in her rare post.
“I have to take a moment to recognize the inimitable Ed Burns,” the San Francisco native began.
“Not only is he now a quadruple threat (director, writer, actor and author), but he is also the eldest son of Molly McKenna Burns, the father of our two children and my husband of over 21 years.”
She then praised him for his performance.
‘This has been a special week for him! From the launch of his first novel #akidfrommarlbororoad to the world premiere of #millersinmarriage on @tiff_net.’

“Guys, your mother would be so proud!” she concluded her message.
Friends Cindy Crawford, Paulina Porizkova and Helena Christensen clicked the like button.
The cover model has been married to Burns since 2003 and they are parents to two children: Grace, 20, and Finn, 18.
Earlier this year, she shared an adorable family portrait from Finn’s high school graduation.
“I am officially an empty nester today!” she wrote in the post, which received a ton of likes from fellow fashion stars, including friend Linda Evangelista.
“How do I feel about this? Ask me in three months, when my baby has moved out of our house and settled into his dorm on the other side of the country.”

“I want to thank everyone who has loved and supported my child so far on this wonderful journey,” the Versace model added.
‘You’ve all made it more fun and rewarding with every step you take. So, here’s to whatever’s outside the nest and embracing as much of it as we can while we can from here.
‘Congratulations, Finn & LREI Class of ’24! We are proud to know you and to claim you as one of our own. #NoFinnNoFun #Chapman28.’

She was previously spotted outside the Chanel Tribeca Festival women’s luncheon in New York City.
The California native, who was discovered in Miami at age 14, wore a cream-colored top with a chic, long, ivory, woven button-up coat.
Katie Holmes, Ashley Benson, Joey King and Kerry Washington also attended the daytime event.
This comes after she revealed that she has never had plastic surgery. In 2023, she told Vogue that surgery was out of the question.
“I’ve always been consistent in my thoughts about this, and I think I still believe in it because I’ve said it so many times,” she said.
“But those are also my values.”
Turlington also does not use injections such as Botox.
In April, she was on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar magazine.
Christy spoke about her approach to modeling these days: ‘I might do a day here and there. But then, two days in, I’m like, “Too much. It’s too much.”

I feel fortunate that I have the opportunity [to model]. It’s still my livelihood.’
She rose to fame as one of the ‘original supermodels’ of the 1990s, detailing the contrast between the shows – for fashion giants such as Chanel, Versace and Valentino – during her heyday with the likes of Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer.
She said: ‘The shows always felt a bit chaotic. I think as models we hold some of that energy and tension, and it’s not peaceful in a lot of those spaces.’

Elsewhere in the interview, Christy revealed that a nude photo she took during her heyday was shared among her 18-year-old son’s high school peers when she attended one of his basketball games.
She heartbreakingly confessed that ‘all [she] “What I wanted to do was disappear” when she found out the other team had bullied her son, Finn Burns, by circulating a nude photo of her from an old shoot.
She said: ‘I was surprised it hadn’t happened before. But at the same time I thought: “This is so rude!”‘
The fashion show legend opened up about the incident during her recent photoshoot for the cover of Harper’s Bazaarwhat marks her 14th collaboration with the magazine.
She noted that the school later became involved in the scandal, adding: “I have no shame. Regretting things is a waste of time.”

In the recent interview, the supermodel revealed that it was her child who suggested her to disable comments on her Instagram posts.
“I don’t have my comments. My daughter told me to do that a few years ago. I’m really glad I didn’t [have to see the comments]’, she said.
“I can’t say I’m Teflon. I’m sure if I read something that was pointed or mean, it would hurt me in the same way. But I also try not to pay too much attention to it.”
She admitted that she is a “shy person,” as she said, referring to her photoshoots: “I like a quiet set. When I hear dance music or techno music, I want to escape.”
“As someone who is quiet and studies people, I think I learned not to stand out. My mom never said, ‘Oh, this is how you’re going to protect yourself.’ I think I just really paid attention, honestly,” she added.
