The 43-year-old singer, who has lost 50 pounds in the past year, also wore a maroon knit hat and black underwear over white Dsquared men’s underwear and fishnet stockings for the Erica Devin Snyder photoshoot.
Her nails were long and painted a nude color, while she placed her hand on her bronze lips.
“Christina Aguilera defines her legacy. 25 years after her introduction, @xtina continues to bring her most authentic self forward,” the magazine’s Instagram post was captioned.

She also said that she wants to appear on stage in a certain way.
“I’m an extreme perfectionist when it comes to preparation and making sure the details are right. I do as much as I can to prepare because I’ve been through it for so long, but then when it does go wrong, I’m like, ‘Whatever,'” she noted.
“There are more important things in life than a microphone falling off a stand. You have to laugh and deal with it as an artist.”

But she also has a laid-back side: “At the end of the day, I don’t take myself and fame too seriously. I do it for the love and the creativity, and how I can connect and hopefully spread messages.”
She also noted, “I have to feel strong in my message and my core and what I’m doing there. I think it’s been clear throughout my career that I’ve taken risks and chances. It’s very easy to err on the side of caution for the public perspective so that they feel safe.”
And she also brought up her mother: ‘That’s why the messages are so important. I come from an abusive family and seeing my mother feel voiceless and powerless sparked something in me from a very young age. I grew up singing in front of people. I could see the reaction as a little girl when I opened my mouth to sing. I was born with something that I believe is a gift, and I don’t take that lightly.
“I’m going to be the voice that I didn’t have growing up for my mother, the voice for other people who feel voiceless in their own circumstances. It was really hard for me to digest a lot of what I saw growing up, so I decided really early on that I was going to come up with something to say.”
