Chrissy Teigen has solved a medical mystery of sorts.
The model, 37, who just days ago was doing normal parenting things like going to her daughter’s dance recital, became a DNA researcher this weekend, as she revealed in a hilarious social media post on Sunday.
“DUDE,” she posted alongside the video explaining her trip.
“Okay,” she began, sitting in her bedroom, “let me tell you about my past insane 24 hours.
“As some of you know, I’ve been on a bit of a journey over the last few years, especially this past year, of health and wellness trying to find out a lot about my past and my family and just typical things that we’re all curious about .’

The cookbook author then explains that she had already taken a 23 and Me test to discover her DNA heritage, and with the encouragement of her therapist and doctor, she paid for a number of upgrades that could educate a client about risks for certain health problems.
“The first thing that came up after I found out I was part Neanderthal was this,” the influencer revealed, pointing to the background, “I have identical twins.”
After writing to the “twins” and then to 23 and me, “like literally talking to a robot like it’s not a robot,” she texted her doctor.
“Honestly, right now I’m spiraling,” said the former swimsuit model.
“I call my dad and I literally say, ‘Daddy, hey, did you see me coming out of Mommy’s vagina and was there two of me?'”

After Dad couldn’t explain why two of hers were on the DNA registry, Chrissy called her sister Tina Teigen and asked the same question.

The mum-of-three, who shares her kids Luna, six, Miles, four, and Esti, about five months, with husband John Legend, 44, explained that the show had her and her family take DNA tests and put them under secret names placed to protect their identity.
