Chris Cuomo burst out laughing as he interviewed a TikTok influencer with Tourette's syndrome, who repeatedly told Cuomo to “fuck off” and mimicked a British accent
Baylen Dupree, a freshman at West Virginia University, shared her journey with Tourette's disease, a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by rapid and repetitive tics and sounds.
During the interview that aired on NewsNation on Tuesday night, she repeatedly told Cuomo to “f**k off” and gestured by raising her middle finger to the 53-year-old news anchor.
Minutes into the conversation, Cuomo couldn't contain his laughter when Dupree said in a humorous British accent, “Go fuck yourself, Chris a** bunny, old cookie fat**.”
After the tics, she continued the conversation and said, “I also get hate from people who have told me that my parents deserve to die in a car crash.”

Dupree, a college freshman and social media influencer with 9 million followers on TikTok, went viral after documenting her life with Tourette's syndrome.
Tourette's disease, which usually begins in childhood and is characterized by involuntary motor and vocal tics, is thought to affect about 1.4 million Americans, including Billie Eilish.
Vocal tics include humming or shouting certain phrases, which Dupree demonstrated during her interview with Cuomo by repeatedly saying, “F**k off, f**k that b**ch.”
“I want people to learn that Tourette's is a neurological, involuntary motor and vocal disorder,” Dupree said Tuesday on CUOMO, which airs weeknights on NewsNation.
'There are a lot of things that people don't understand, like people think that swearing (typically) occurs in everyone who has Tourette syndrome, but that only occurs in ten percent of people with Tourette syndrome.'
“I get thousands of DMs from parents, from teachers, from girls who have been diagnosed with Tourette's and have been expelled from school for seeking attention, for tearing up their homework or for doing things like that,” she said.

“I also get very bad people who come and say…” During the interview you can see that she has difficulty finishing the sentence.
It's the moment Cuomo burst out laughing. He tried to restrain himself by covering his face with both hands and shaking his head.
The interview continued after Dupree's swearing tics.
“People have told me my parents deserve to die in a car accident. I've had police come to my house because people left my location and said they were going to burn my house down, like it's crazy.”
Cuomo attempted to encourage the influencer, saying, “This is what it's all about. Clinically speaking, people are worthless, stupid and mean. They try to make themselves feel better by going after others, and you are the antidote, my young friend.”
“Because you have my kids…” Cuomo paused and laughed again when the influencer raised her middle finger at him during the video call.
“You make my kids repeat your lines so it's almost cool,” he continued. 'Because you are real and you live your truth. They love the bravery of it, and so do I.”
Dupree said during the interview that she wants to become a physical therapist or personal trainer because exercise has helped her.
“I go to the gym five days a week and I go to exercise classes spread out throughout the week,” she said, appearing to be in pain as she blinked.
'It's my release. Obviously I go to the gym and wear headphones and that's also a huge factor in how…f*** off. F**k Collin, f**k that b***h,” she said later.
“I like seeing him (your friend) in the video. You have a great bond. “I love everything about your family and I love the story you tell people,” Cuomo said.
Dupree raised her middle finger and pointed at the camera, “You're done, you're done.”
Cuomo laughed and said, “You know what, I'm done. I have to get to the phone because they are full of messages of support for you.'
He was interrupted by Dupree, who said, “Blow that sausage up.”

The interview has sparked an overwhelming response from social media users, with many labeling the video as “the most entertaining video of this year.”
“Even though Chris Cuomo has never been a credible or professional TV host, it would be hard for anyone not to respond to this. Poor girl,” one person wrote.
Another person said, “That's the best content Cuomo has produced in years.”
Cuomo was fired from CNN in December 2021 — a move that cost him nearly $15 million in salary that he would have earned had he served out his contract.
He then took a new job at NewsNation, where he averages less than 10 percent of the viewership he used to get on CNN.
He is suing CNN for more than $60 million over his abrupt dismissal and is also believed to have a lawsuit with HarperCollins, the publisher of his book Deep Denial, which was canceled after his dismissal.
