Chippendale disappearance: Fears for missing teenage girl Latoya Brown who has not been seen for more than THREE weeks

A desperate search is on for a teenage girl who went missing three weeks ago.

Latoya Brown, 19, was last seen at a home on City Road, Chippendale, inner-city Sydney, about 7.40am on Sunday, October 19.

She was reported missing after she failed to return home and could not be contacted or located.

Police officers were notified of her disappearance on Saturday, November 18 and launched a search to find her.

There are concerns for her welfare because her behavior is uncharacteristic.

Latoya is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Islander appearance, approximately 168cm tall, of slim build, with long brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a blue sweater, gray pants, black slippers and carrying a brown bag and a black handbag.

She is known to visit the Glebe, Redfern and Waterloo areas.
