The forecast for Saturday night’s AFC Wild Card Round playoff game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins looks bleak, with reports claiming wind chill temperatures could reach as low as -30 degrees.

That would be one of the coldest environments for an NFL playoff game in the league’s history. But the NFL hasn’t considered changing the schedule FOX Sports.

That’s despite the National Weather Service saying the wind chill in Kansas City will be “dangerously cold.”

The Wild Card game between the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers could be moved to Cleveland if a state of emergency is declared in New York state, with several inches of snow possible.

Snow is nothing new in Kansas City and neither are freezing temperatures. Earlier this week, the Chiefs released photos showing Arrowhead already covered in snow.

The National Weather Service will visit on Thursday afternoon has issued a winter storm watch for much of Western New York, including Orchard Park, where the Bills play their home games.

The snowstorm will be in effect from Saturday afternoon through Monday morning, with more than eight inches of snow possible over the weekend, with winds possibly reaching 60 miles per hour.

And Pittsburgh’s KDKA Radio reports that Browns stadium officials have already been notified that a change of venue may be necessary. Cleveland Browns Stadium is located 200 miles southwest of Orchard Park.
