A chemical explosion at the University of Sydney has sent three people to hospital.
A worker was reportedly transporting chemicals when a reaction occurred in the bucket on Tuesday, causing a ‘vapour cloud’ and explosion around 10am.
Three people were exposed to the vapor cloud and all three were taken to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital with minor injuries.
The chemicals are now stable and firefighters are wearing protective clothing and clearing the site.
