The 48-year-old actress turned heads in a chic white minidress as she posed for the Louis Vuitton Foundation on the eve of the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Her dress had a dramatic, over-the-shoulder sleeve that fell over her body in a train.

She looked dazzling in a glittering tennis bracelet on her wrist and equally striking diamond rings.

For the party, the Oscar winner tossed her platinum blonde bob into a sleek updo with wavy, side-swept locks that framed her face.

She sported a sultry, bronze smokey eye, paired with pink blush and glossy, light-box red lips.

Theron is one of the co-hosts at the party and worked with Lupin star Omar Sy, tennis icon Serena Williams and Spanish singer Rosalía.

The Prelude to the Olympics is an event dedicated to fashion and sport in honor of the upcoming international multi-sport event taking place in France from July 26 to August 11, 2024.

This comes after Theron shared a surprising update with her fans about why The Old Guard 2 is taking so long to release.

Although she completed the film two years ago, she said Netflix halted post-production.

She assured her fans that the sequel to the 2020 superhero film had “finally” been picked up, after delays.

During her speech at the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project Block Party, she said Variety on July 17: ‘We were kind of stuck in it and our post-production shut down, I think, after five weeks.

“Netflix has gone through quite a change. They’ve gone through a lot of changes, and I totally understand that,” she noted.

Theron added that she is “really excited” about the project and that she thinks the film is beautiful.

“We finally picked it up again and I’m really excited about it,” she said. “It’s really good. It’s a really important film for us.

“I only wanted to do it if we could make it great,” she continued. “I really love this movie.”

In June 2022, Uma Thurman and Henry Golding joined the cast of the superhero sequel, alongside returning cast members Theron, KiKi Layne, Matthias Schoenaerts, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Veronica Ngo, and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
