Boats full of partygoers arrived at a popular Florida destination for the annual ‘Mayhem at Lake George’ party.

Hundreds of partygoers gathered at the Juniper Sandbar on Lake George on Saturday.

Bikini-clad women were seen all over the water, floating on inflatable rafts and dancing on boats.

Police have stepped up their presence this year after a huge brawl in 2022 saw five people arrested and one person suffer serious head injuries.

“The audience for this event is mostly people from out of town who are unfamiliar with our waterways,” said Sergeant Brodie Hughes of the Volusia Sheriff’s Office. WKMG.

“Then you mix alcohol in and it’s a recipe for disaster. That’s actually why we put so much effort into it.’

“A lot of it has to do with boaters wiping down their boats for the first time and not making sure their safety equipment is ready to go. They may not be familiar with the area,” he said. .

In April, more than 10,000 partygoers attended the annual Boca Bash in Florida for a wild party as the drinks flowed and the clothes were taken off.

People sat back and raged atop boats, jet skis, kayaks and paddleboards in Lake Boca Raton.

The floating party lasted all day as people took over the lake, including police and firefighters surveying the area.

The Florida Wildlife Commission has launched an investigation into the group of spring breakers who dumped massive amounts of waste into the ocean during the explosion.

At least 18 people were taken into custody over the Boca Bash weekend and are facing charges related to drunk driving and drug offences.
