The film, from Amazon MGM Studios, was previously called P***y Island, but was changed to Blink Twice.

The film also stars Haley Joel Osment, Adria Arjona, Kyle MacLachlan, Simon Rex, Geena Davis, Christian Slater and Liz Caribel.

Blink Twice will be released in theaters on August 23.

The trailer opens with Channing’s character Slater, bloodied as he sits in a candlelit room, saying ominously, “So… everyone’s dead.”

Before any more context is revealed, the trailer then shows his island villa in flames, with Slate saying in voiceover, “Shall we start at the beginning?” while the house is back to its glorious state and no fires have been seen.

Slater meets up with Jess and Frida and asks them to come with him to his private island, which they agree to and go via his private jet – while he drinks and dines them.

Jess and Frida meet all his friends: his childhood friend Cody, Vic, his left and right hand, Tom, Sarah, the resident’s ‘wonder boy’, Heather, Camila.

“Did we just fly to a billionaire’s island with a bunch of strangers?” Jess says, to which Frida replies: ‘No, he’s not a stranger. He’s Slater King.’

“Everyone says, ‘Making memories!’” Vic says, taking a group photo of them posing in formal attire on the steps of the villa.

Frida and Jess are seen enjoying champagne by the luxury pool as they eat a five-course meal.

Jess jokes that it’s too good to be true and says, “So you think the human sacrifice takes place before or after the meal?”

“Slater King’s legendary parties are not what I thought they would be,” says Frida as the group enjoys a bonfire together.

It seems things started to change, with Slater telling Frida, “We’re still having fun.” It’s just a little different now.’

Frida asks, “What do you mean?” while Geena Davis’ character collects everyone’s phones.

Jess says in shock, “Waiting for the real thing?”

“You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do,” Slater says ominously as Frida and Jess look worried, before appearing to put their phones in Geena’s bag.

Sarah tells them, “I’m really enjoying it here. But I also feel like I’m not.’

Cody then says that his knife is missing and that the boy wonder has a black eye which he initially didn’t realize before remembering shortly afterwards.

Vic says, “Something strange is going on here” before seeing a woman holding a dead snake in her hands with blood dripping down it – while smiling broadly.

Jess is heard saying, “Everyone is smiling and laughing like 1960s flight attendants. Like you’re having a good time and I’m like I’m having a good time” as Frida and Slater grin at each other in the pool.

It’s getting dark and Jess says anxiously, ‘Can’t you feel it? There’s something wrong with this place’ as she turns around when she hears a branch crack.

Slater takes a photo with a Polaroid camera and the ladies are seen enjoying a facial and pedicure.

Frida realizes that Jess is not among the women and asks where she is, to which one of the women asks, “Who is Jess?”

Frida says, “My friend who was in the room next to mine.”

She runs to the bathroom crying and starts telling herself that she needs to wake up, hits herself on the head and then slams the mirror shut, from which the knife Vic was looking for falls from behind it and she grabs it.

“I have the feeling that we forget a lot of things,” Frida says anxiously before looking at all the Polaroids.

Sarah asks her, “Yes, but how?” Something makes us forget.’

Sarah is then seen with the knife and demands what is going on, before the villa goes up in flames.

A montage of a gun with Sarah in hand, someone wiping blood from a knife, Wonder Boy screaming and Slater looking bloodied and in disbelief.

Two women (with hidden identities) wear bloody dresses and carry a knife and a gun.

The trailer ends with Frida telling Kyle’s character (in front of Slater), “Blink twice when I’m in danger,” after which he quickly blinks twice and Slater tries to cover his eyes – which Frida thinks is it’s a joke, but he seems serious.

“Well, maybe let’s not answer that, shall we?” Slater says ominously.
