Channel Seven has agreed to compensate a clothing designer after the elegant suit it lent actress Georgie Parker to wear to the 2022 Logie Awards was returned ‘butchered’.

Bridal shop owner Cristina Tridente created a dazzling sparkly gown for the Home and Away star to wear to the June ceremony, but it was later made without permission.

Tridente added that the garment was not returned to him as promised and that he had to go after the relevant parties on social media until he finally got a response.

“The stylist took it to a tailor and reshaped the suit without getting permission,” he said. the daily telegraph.

“It wasn’t a fit issue, all the pants were butchered to change the shape,” he added.

She posted photos on social media highlighting the damaged garment that had 11 inches cut from the pants to ensure it would fit Parker perfectly.

Tridente tried to contact the stylist, Pip Cook of Reload Agency, to discuss the situation, but said she was ignored on Instagram.

He then approached some businessmen for advice and they suggested that Tridente go public with his story.

After taking her situation to the media, the situation was quickly resolved when Channel Seven agreed to compensate her for damages.

“Happy to say the claim has been returned and costs settled by Channel 7,” Tridente said in a statement.

Tridente added that the design was not returned to him as promised and that he had to seek out the relevant parties on social media until he finally got a response.
