Channel Seven dominates television viewership over rival networks as a new TV ratings system launches

A new TV rating system has revealed that Channel Seven is far ahead of its commercial competitors.

Named VOZ, the nightly rating data combines viewers in capital cities, regional areas, and reports from broadcaster on demand services (BVOD) TV black box.

According to VOZ, Seven scored a huge national audience share of 42.3 percent on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Seven’s arch-rival, Channel Nine, managed to grab 36.5 per cent of the available audience, while embattled Channel 10 took in 21.2 per cent of viewers.

According to VOZ, which launched this week, Seven’s biggest hits with national fans are The Chase Australia, Home and Away and Sunrise.
