Shock on Channel 7: Woman who was part of the network’s show accused of rape and child molestation that allegedly lasted more than a decade

A Queensland woman who was part of a Channel 7 program has been charged with multiple serious child abuse offences, including rape, which are believed to have lasted 10 years.
The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged by police with committing the crimes between 2005 and 2020 at various locations across the state, with her partner also charged with a number of assault charges.
Channel 7 did not reveal whether the untitled and yet to be broadcast program would be axed or amended to remove the woman and how long they had known about the allegations when they were approached with the allegations by The courier mail.

Police have charged the woman several times with indecent treatment of a child under the age of 16, as well as rape, assault, torture and assault.
The man has been released on bail and will appear before Richlands Magistrate’s Court in September.
The woman will appear in court in October after being released on bail under strict conditions, including living at a listed address and not having contact with specific individuals.
A Channel 7 spokesman told Daily Mail Australia: ‘We are unable to comment on the matter for legal reasons’.
