Carrie Bickmore’s ex-partner Chris Walker was “joking” when he responded to rumors that the former Project host is getting “closer to her” radio host Tommy Little, a new report claims.
The ABC TV producer shared a bizarre image on Instagram late Wednesday night of 38-year-old Little, who snapped up a 2018 family photoshoot when Bickmore, 42, was pregnant with the couple’s third child.
The post was an “unwise joke” and may have been posted as a “joke” by a friend of Walker’s, according to an alleged insider. The Herald Sun reported Friday.
The paper added that insiders close to Walker claim he “does not believe there is any truth to the rumours.”
However, it went on to claim that sources in Carrie’s camp believe “Walker has entered the anger phase of a breakup.”

Walker did not endorse the post and deleted it nearly six hours later.
His unusual message was screened and reposted by the gossip account Influencer Updates AUwho asked his followers, “Theories what this means?”
One explanation is that Walker laughed at reports of Bickmore and Little’s friendship, which had been the subject of much speculation in the months since the pair announced their separation in January.
Co-hosting the radio show Carrie & Tommy for the Hit Network for many years, Bickmore and Little are known for their on-air chemistry.

The photo showed a pregnant Bickmore posing with Walker and their two children, Ollie and Evie, but things got awkward when Little stood right behind Walker, squeezing his buttocks.
At the time, the Channel 10 personality was expecting the couple’s daughter, Adelaide, who is now four years old.
The shoot raised money for Unicef Australia’s Save a Newborn Appeal. At least one company, Little Innoscents Organic, donated $20,000 to the cause.
“This is what happens when you let Tommy [organise] a beautiful photo shoot to celebrate Carrie’s pregnancy,” Hit FM wrote at the time with the photo.
It comes as Bickmore has reportedly grown close to her radio co-host Little, who is also single following his split from ex-girlfriend Natalie Kyriacou in 2021.
