After her terminal diagnosis, a GoFundMe page was set up to help Samantha and her family fight cancer. More than $25,000 has been raised so far.
In April, a family statement said: “Most of all, we wish we didn’t have to write this, but on December 22, 2021, just three days before Christmas, our world was turned upside down when we learned that Samantha has cancer for the second time. . .
Now over a year later, Samantha is still battling a now terminal diagnosis.
“As you can imagine, this has had a huge emotional, physical and financial impact on Sam and her family.
“Samantha has a wonderful husband and three beautiful children who are doing their best to adjust to their wife and mother’s constant struggle.”
The family was also supported by Kellie Finlayson, wife of Williams ex-GWS Giants teammate Jeremy. She is also battling her own terminal cancer.
