Caitlyn Jenner blasts Don Lemon as ‘privileged, wealthy and entitled’ after awkward interview with Bill Maher
Caitlyn Jenner has labeled Don Lemon “privileged, wealthy and entitled” after the former CNN host appeared in an awkward interview with Bill Maher.
Lemon appeared alongside Scott Galloway, professor of marketing at the NYU Stern School of Business, on Friday’s episode of “Real Time with Bill Maher.”
Their discussion focused largely on the ongoing protests on college campuses across the country, and the difference between activists today and years ago.
During the interview, Lemon can be heard saying, “I’m different from you guys. I’m a black gay man, so I live in uncomfortable spaces all the time.”
Seemingly confused, Maher asks, “Why?” What is going on? What do you mean uncomfortable spaces?’

Seemingly confused, Maher asked the former CNN anchor what he meant by uncomfortable spaces
He responds, “I’m often the only person of color in the room,” to which Maher responds, “There’s only three of us,” to applause from the watching audience.
After images of the exchange hit social media, Caitlyn Jenner hit back at Lemon.
In a tweet she wrote: ‘Well done Bill Maher. Don is a privileged, wealthy (not to mention entitled i.e. Demands to X and CNN in alleged contract terms), celebrity. Get over yourself.’
In 2017, Jenner previously appeared on Lemon’s CNN show and said she didn’t regret voting for Trump despite his LGBT “flaws.”
Earlier this month, Lemon tied the knot with longtime fiancé Tim Malone in a glitzy ceremony in New York City attended by several A-listers.
The ceremony took place half a decade after they got engaged and on the same day as his fiancée’s birthday.
Alleged sex bully broadcaster Matt Lauer, fired CNN boss Jeff Zucker and accused murderer Alec Baldwin were among the illustrious attendees.

Lemon, 58, married Tim Malone, 40, earlier this month on Saturday at Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church
Lemon and Malone, who work in the real estate industry, made their relationship public when they rang it up with an on-air kiss during CNN’s live New Year’s Eve broadcast in 2018.
Lemon, who came out as gay in his 2011 memoir Transparent, told CNN viewers: “I grew up thinking that I would never be able to talk about my relationships in public, let alone ever legally to marry.
‘So for me this is doubly exciting and a little bit scary. I guess I should start thinking about children. Talk about a late bloomer.’
It was previously reported that Don’s firing from CNN in April 2023 caused a “feud” between the lovebirds.
The veteran presenter was sensationally sacked amid a furious controversy over his ‘sexist’ and ‘misogynistic’ behaviour.

Lemon spent 17 years at CNN until he was ousted from the network in April 2023
Last month, his new X show was abruptly canceled by Elon Musk, whose company struck a deal with the former host.
Musk said he chose not to move forward with the partnership because Lemon’s show “really turned out to be just CNN, but on social media.”
Lemon labeled the decision as an attack on his freedom of speech, which Musk refuted by insisting that Lemon is still free to share his show on the platform without censorship, but “we reserve the right to make decisions take over our business partnerships.’
Lemon declined to say what exactly angered Musk, though journalist Kara Swisher claimed the billionaire took offense to “questions about his ketamine use.”
