Dozens of fire crews have spent the afternoon battling a massive fire at Black Hill Conservation Park as the fire threatens nearby towns in the Adelaide Hills.
‘Leave now. Check that the path is clear and proceed to a safer location,’ the SA Country Fire Service said.
‘Do not enter this area as conditions are dangerous. Fire crews are responding, but you shouldn’t expect a firefighter at your door.
Police warned that the wildfire could increase with increasing winds on Saturday afternoon.
The Montacute fire is out of control. This brush fire is burning both to the south and east…conditions are continually changing,” police said in a statement.
