Bros star Luke Macfarlane has revealed he has welcomed a baby girl with his partner, alpine skier Hig Roberts.
The actor, 43, took to Instagram to share a gallery of snaps of him rocking the newborn, revealing they’d named their bundle of joy Tess Eleanor Macfarlane.
In the caption, Luke shared that his daughter was born on June 4, but after several “hectic days,” she was finally brought home from the hospital on Father’s Day.
Luke wrote the caption, “Tess Eleanor Macfarlane— Born June 4, 2023. We started life with a few hectic days and received world class care. On Father’s Day we were allowed to take her home.
“Her dads can’t wait to introduce her to all the remarkable people and the wonderful world we live in.”

The post included a sweet photo of Luke holding his infant daughter, and a short video of the Hallmark star and his partner taking her home from hospital.
Many of Luke’s Hallmark co-stars offered their best wishes in the comments, with Alison Sweeney writing, “This is incredible news!! I am SO happy for all three of you!!!!!! Congratulations.’
Congratulations Luke! So happy for you,” said Nikke DeLoach, who starred in A Christmas Land with Luke.
Luke’s Bros co-star Billy Eichner also shared a collection of heart emojis.
The Brothers And Sisters star previously appeared alongside Billy in the raunchy male rom-com, which broke new ground by focusing on two gay men, and featured an all-LGBTQ cast.
In 2008, Luke publicly came out as gay in an interview with The Globe and the Mail saying, “I don’t know what will happen professionally…that’s the fear, but I guess I can’t really worry about what will happen because it’s my truth.”
The star starred in Brothers And Sisters for five seasons from 2006 to 2011 and starred in Killjoys from 2015 to 2019.
He’s also become a regular on the Hallmark Channel, appearing in a slew of their heartwarming TV movies.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Luke admitted that he struggled to land roles after Brothers And Sisters ended.
He said, “I literally remember a cop once saying to me, ‘Superman can’t be gay,'” as if it was just flat out.
“I do remember being frustrated when I saw other actors and straight people my age – and I never want to bring it up, but – thinking why are they getting [the parts]? Why don’t I get them?
“The moment after Brothers & Sisters was definitely scary. I was like, “Dude, I’m the perfect age for this stuff.” And it didn’t click, for whatever reason.’
