Nicola, who married Brooklyn in April last year, is rumored to have sparked a feud between her and the former Spice Girl.
Nicola, who previously confirmed that the rumors had started after she did not wear the mother-in-law’s wedding dress design when she married Brooklyn, doubled down on the claims in an October interview with The times.
But she denied that the icy tensions were an “enmity,” explaining that Victoria’s atelier simply hadn’t had time to make the dress, insisting: “No family is perfect.”
Nicola said: ‘It’s not a fight! I keep seeing that word everywhere, ‘fight, fight, fight!?’ I mean, maybe they noticed something? And now they label it as enmity?
“I think it all started, and I’ve said this before, because I didn’t end up wearing Victoria’s wedding dress, but I really wanted to wear it and I thought it was just as beautiful as the one in Brooklyn.” mom has to do that for me! And I was very excited to use it! And I didn’t end up using it.
She went on to say: ‘But I was honestly so excited to wear her dress. It makes me sad when I read things that people say that I never planned to use it. That is not true.

‘She didn’t say you can’t use it; I didn’t say she didn’t want to use it. That’s where she started.
Brooklyn, in a rather subdued defense, added: “Everyone gets along, which is good.”
More recently, Victoria addressed those rumors of family feuds in an interview in December.
The fashion mogul said she was trying to show “support” for her eldest son, Brooklyn, and his marriage to Nicola, amid rumors that she fell out with the couple after their wedding last year.
