Brittany Cartwright, the 35 years old Vanderpump Rules veteran, announced this week that she has separated from husband Jax Taylor, 44.

But weeks ago she told DailyMail.com that everything was great and they wanted a second child; they already have son Cruz.

“Everything is going great with Jax, he’s a great dad and it makes me fall in love with him even more,” the TV star said.

‘It is so good for our relationship that it works again. Things got a little weird after we left Vanderpump Rules, but now we’re back on track and I think it’s good for us both to stay busy.”

She also said she was looking forward to welcoming a second child soon.

‘We would like to welcome a second child. I definitely want another baby, 100%. I’m not currently pregnant, but I talked to Jax about it. We don’t want our children to be too far apart in age.’

And she was very happy that they had so many new projects: in addition The Valley, they have a new bar and podcast. “We are very grateful for everything we have and all these opportunities,” the pin-up said.

However, she seemed to point out some problems DailyMail.com.

The star said she felt her husband could do more during a chat with DailyMail.com in early February.

She said she expected him to plan a romantic date for Valentine’s Day, which fell on February 14.

“For Valentine’s Day, I asked Jax to take the lead because I’m so busy being a mom that I think he has to plan everything for that one day,” Jenny Craig’s spokesperson said.

“I think this is the one day of the year when a man should do something for his wife to show that he appreciates her, because women do so much for men all year round.”

She added that it’s really not a woman’s responsibility to plan and organize Valentine’s Day.

“He can plan this one day of the year,” she said matter-of-factly.

She also said she thinks fans will enjoy her new TV series called The Valley, in which she stars alongside her husband Jax and some of their real-life friends.

She announced the news that she and Jax were over on their joint podcast When Reality Hits this week.

“Jax and I are taking some time apart and I have decided to move to another house to take some space for the sake of my mental health.”

However, Brittany also later hinted that the “split” could be temporary when she asked fans to “pray for us,” adding that she believes “everything will be okay.”

Signs of their relationship problems and marital problems will most likely reveal themselves during their new reality show The Valley, which premieres on March 19.

The beloved Bravo stars tied the knot in a fairytale-themed wedding ceremony in June 2019 in Kentucky after a year-long engagement.

But it looks like the fairytale is over, at least for now.

“A lot of you have been asking me about Jax and I and our relationship,” Brittany said in the podcast episode released Thursday.
