The 41-year-old singer will address 71-year-old father Jamie in her explosive new memoir, titled The Woman In Me, which will be released later this month.

In excerpts obtained by People, the star opened up about the unrelenting control her family had over her, which, looking back, makes her “feel sick.”

In the upcoming release, Britney writes, “I was watched so much growing up. Since I was a teenager, I was looked at from head to toe and people told me what they thought of my body. Shaving my head and acting out were my ways of pushing back.

‘But under the conservatory I was told that those days were now over. I needed to grow my hair and get back into shape. I had to go to bed early and took the meds they told me to take.

‘If I thought criticism of my body in the press was bad, it hurt even more from my own father. He repeatedly told me that I looked fat and that I should do something about it.’

She continued, “Feeling like you are never good enough is a crushing state of being for a child. He had instilled that message in me as a girl, and even after I had accomplished so much, he continued to do it with me.

‘I became a robot. But not just any robot – a kind of child robot. I had become so infantilized that I lost pieces of what made me feel like myself.’

The star concluded: ‘Thirteen years passed in which I felt like a shadow of myself. I think back now that my father and his associates had control over my body and my money for so long and it makes me sick…

“I didn’t deserve what my family did to me.”

It started as a temporary arrangement but became permanent by the end of the year.

In the years that followed, Britney was considered good enough to operate in what the former trustee in the lawsuits called a “hybrid business model,” but not good enough to keep her personal life in check.

The estate checked who her friends were, where she could go and “signed her up for a drink at Starbucks with every purchase,” according to The New York Times.

Britney also told the court that she had been forced to use birth control and take medication against her will.

During a trial, she told the judge: ‘Madam, my father and everyone involved in this conservatory, and my management, who played a huge role in punishing me when I said ‘No’ (to going on tour) – Ma’ ben, they should be in jail.”

Earlier this month, it was reported that Jamie would not be reading Britney’s memoir.
