Britain’s Got Talent viewers are outraged as the judges’ split decision sees the semi final end with a public vote for the third night in a row

Britain’s Got Talent viewers were outraged after the judges relayed their final vote to the public for the third night in a row on Thursday.

Acts The Phoenix Boys and Northants Sing Out qualified for the judges’ vote after reaching the top three of the show’s fourth semi-finals.

But ITV viewers were left stunned and asked ‘what’s the point?’ as judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Bruno Tonioli and Alesha Dixon were unable to reach a majority verdict on their favorite act.

After Abigail and Afronitaa came first in the public vote and secured a place in the final, it was left to the judges to decide who they wanted to pass next to them.

But when Bruno and Simon voted for The Phoenix Boys and Amanda and Alesha voted for Northants Sing Out, it was a split vote and their fate was once again left up to the public.

ITV viewers were stunned and asked ‘what’s the point?’ because judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Bruno Tonioli and Alesha Dixon could not get a majority for their favorite act

It was revealed that Northants Sing Out received the second most votes from viewers and was heading to the final.

But the jury’s decision to leave the important vote to the public was not the first time this week.

On Tuesday, they were split on their decision between acts Haribow and Ravi’s Dream Team.

After the public voting tallies, Haribow advanced along with the episode’s overall winner, Jack Rhones.

But on Wednesday the judges were again split on their decision as they were unable to name a finalist between Mike Woodhams and Leighton Jay.

After the public vote, Mike entered the final together with the winner of the evening, Sydnie Christmas.

Frustrated by the decision to show it to the public again, ITV viewers flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their dismay.

One wrote: ‘What’s the point of judges voting when I think it goes to the public for the third night in a row – if you can’t make a decision just leave it to the screaming public’

‘Another night of ‘I will vote (said act) to even it’ from the judges’

‘Time to abolish jury choice, pointless. #bgt’

‘Does it really make sense to let the jury decide who will continue on #BGT? Not one if they have backbone and always win the public vote except Monday. Stop that nonsense and go along with the public mood.’

‘Why can’t the judges make a decision? Just go to the public vote, it will save time #BGT’

‘Alesha makes it fun again. That’s not how it works. This jury vote is a mess. This needs to be resolved #BGT’
