An UberEats driver has been caught stealing food after placing a delivery at the door of a home and taking a photo before grabbing the bag and leaving with it.
CCTV footage shared on a Facebook community page in Brisbane captured the UberEats driver’s sneaky act.
The customer shared the video and asked social media users if other app users were not receiving their orders.
‘Anyone who doesn’t get their money Uber eat?,” they wrote.
“Mr. Uber must have been hungry today. Quick drop, click and remove. Have you ever wondered what happens to your food sometimes?’

The video angered social media users, with many claiming that the incident should be reported to UberEats.
“I would upload that video to Uber!” one person commented.
Others claimed the incident was a “common act,” with many adding that they had also experienced not receiving their Uber Eats orders.
“Explains what happened to our meal,” someone commented.
“I got an order a long time ago with most of the food. That was before they taped or stapled the package it was delivered in,” a second person wrote.
According to UberEats policy, a customer must report a failed delivery within 48 hours to receive a full refund.
“If you never received your order but were charged for it, please chat with us so we can make it right and order you again,” the UberEats website says.
‘For the best possible support experience, please contact us within 48 hours. After this period, we may not be able to provide a refund or other resolution.”
Moments later, the driver is seen picking up the order and leaving with it, unaware that his actions have been filmed by the house’s CCTV cameras (pictured)
