“Run sir,” another advised, while one agreed: “It’s just rude.”
‘Yes, she has the super title run brother run!’ said one critic.
“This is a huge red flag,” one user wrote, while another said it was another red flag that she had her phone in her hand during the proposal.
“She’s more interested in the jewelry than love itself,” someone else stated.
Courtney responded to some of the criticism in the comments, saying she was so excited she didn’t fully realize what was going on.

It’s hard to plan the perfect proposal, and even the best plans go wrong.
In August, a TikTok creator shared the story of how a Karen ruined her romantic beach engagement.
Reactions to her response were mixed, with some accusing her of being greedy, while others said they were doing the same
Zenicca Llanza, 24, from the Philippines, shared a video of her boyfriend getting down on one knee on the beach.
While her husband-to-be had everything set up for the perfect moment, another beachgoer decided to intervene and rearrange the setup before interrupting the moment.
“How to quickly ruin a proposal,” Zenicca wrote on TikTok.
‘Take into account the unique event of others! You never know when you’re already screwing up,” she wrote.
