A boy has been rescued from Sydney’s Parramatta River after being found along an active ferry route.
Emergency services were called to the Sydney Olympic Park ferry terminal, at Wentworth Point in Sydney’s west, about 11.30am on Sunday after the boy was spotted.
A boat was able to pull the boy from the water, where ferries were still operating, and take him away for examination by waiting paramedics.
They determined he did not require transportation to a hospital.
More to come.
