Trina McGee, one of the stars of the 1990s sitcom Boy Meets World, revealed on Monday at the age of 54 that she was pregnant.
The actress shared her happy news on Instagram, before announcing that she would be “logging off social media for a while.”
“At the tender age of 54, I found myself pregnant,” she said in a short video set to the soundtrack of The Supremes’ classic Baby Love. “Please bless us with your prayers for a safe delivery. Thank you.’
She added in her caption, “Thank you for your prayers and well wishes in advance.”
McGee – who has received an apology from her co-star Danielle Fishelle for her ‘cold’ behavior in recent years – is best known for her role as Angela Moore on Boy Meets World, which she joined in 1997 and appeared for its seventh and final season in 2000 .
