Bikini-clad influencer is scolded by Bondi locals for ‘entitled’ act at Instagram hotspot

Aussies have ruthlessly mocked an ‘entitled’ beachgoer after she commandeered a scenic backdrop to take a selfie.

In a video shared to the influencersinthewild Instagram account, a woman in a pink bikini can be seen walking along the edge of Bondi’s famous Icebergs seawater pool in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

A boy standing there admiring the ocean was interrupted by the woman who tapped him on the shoulder and seemed to ask him to move as she pointed to another man standing on the other side of the pool.

He stepped aside as the woman struck a number of modeling poses and her male companion took pictures with his phone.

Two men filming from the clubhouse overlooking the pool provided comic commentary on the exchange.

“Get out of the way, you damn infantile little prick,” someone said jokingly.

The other joked: ‘The ‘Excuse me, I’m trying to take a selfie. Can you hurry?’

The original narrator then comes up with a funny idea.

“I’m literally going to work with Airtasker now and have someone do bombies (dive bombs) in that corner all the time,” he joked.

“I’ll pay a damn premium for that,” replied the other.

The clip, titled ‘Tell me you’re in Bondi without telling me you’re in Bondi’ was flooded with hundreds of comments

Many viewers were shocked by the woman’s behavior.

One claimed to know the boy who was asked to move.

“He is twelve years old and was watching his father swim in the ocean. She should be ashamed for asking him to move,” they wrote.

Another added: “Asking a young boy who was quietly watching the ocean to move is disgusting.”

‘Shame on them, so dirty.’

A third wrote: ‘Should have said no and stood there.’

One described the clip as ‘the most Bondi thing ever.’

“The moral of the story is: if an ‘influencer’ asks you to take action, you should call them out on it,” another commented.

“I’d say $50 USD.”

The online comments prompted some viewers to defend the woman and believe it wasn’t a big deal.

“Honestly, what’s going on? We have no idea how long that person stood in that spot before she approached. He doesn’t own the place either. It’s okay to ask someone to take a photo so they can get back to what they were doing,” one person wrote.

Another added: ‘I don’t think it’s right for someone else to take their view for themselves. It’s no big deal.’

A third wrote: ‘He still has the view, she has the photo, everyone is happy.’

Other viewers expressed their appreciation for the comments.

‘Aussie commentary for the win! I will also be donating to the Bondi Bombies Fund,” one person joked.
