Bombshell new video from Trump assassination attempt shows eerie figure running across rooftop minutes before shots rang

A shocking new video, taken from the perspective of one of the victims of the attempted shooting of Donald Trump, shows a creepy figure running across a rooftop just before shots ring out.

The clip, obtained by Fox, was taken by James Copenhaver, a participant in the Butler, Pennsylvania rally who was seriously injured in the attempted murder.

A figure appears on the roof of the American Glass Research (AGR) building, across from where Trump spoke on July 13.

In the images, the figure appears around the second mark and then again around the 2:50 mark.

It appears the shooter, Thomas Crooks, 20, fired his bullets just three minutes after the video was taken.

According to the presidential candidate, one of the victims hit Trump in the ear, while firefighter Corey Comperatore, 50, was killed while trying to protect his family.

Copenhaver, 74, suffered “life-changing injuries” but was recently released from hospital.

According to his lawyer, he is still recovering in a rehabilitation center. He was shot in the arm and abdomen.

“He almost saw or heard something pass by him, which we assume was a bullet,” said attorney Joseph Feldman.

“He felt it on his arm, and he looked at his arm… and he felt pain at first, but he didn’t even realize at that point that he had been shot a second time. It could have been shock.”

David Dutch, 57, was the fourth wounded. He was reportedly shot twice and underwent two surgeries.

Shortly after, Crooks was fatally shot by a sniper. However, questions remain about the security breaches that allowed him to carry out the attack.

The lone shooter was identified as a suspicious person before the shooting and was seen around the event for hours.

Disturbing footage captured by someone in the crowd shows Crooks sneaking around a building, which he climbs onto 60 Minutes later to gain the perfect vantage point from which to attack Trump.

According to the FBI, he was able to get to the roof of the AGR building by climbing over HVAC equipment and pipes and hopping across several roofs.

Police received a report of a suspicious person near the protest site about 90 minutes before the shooting and took photos of Crooks at the scene.

Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle was forced to resign due to the negative reactions to the blunders.

The FBI is still investigating Crooks’ motive. A classmate told DailyMail.com that he was previously investigated for threats to “shoot up his school” when he was just 15.

The incident was not taken seriously at the time, but is now being investigated by the agency.

In his first interview after the assassination attempt, Trump said he survived “by luck or by God.”
