Blanca Blanco models a hot pink bikini that cost only $12.99 as she takes an ‘afternoon dip’ in Bora Bora… after sharing money-saving diet trick

Tale Of Tails actress Blanca Blanco donned a new bikini this weekend while on vacation in Bora Bora.

The Washington state native was wearing a skimpy and strappy two-piece she bought for $12.99 on Amazon as she stepped into the sky-blue water near the shore.

The Eye For Eye actress showed off her toned stomach and sculpted legs as she looked ready to go for a swim in a collection of new images shared on Instagram.

She also wore black Prada sunglasses.

In her caption, she wrote “Afternoon dip” as she shared a pink flower emoji and let fans know she was staying at St Regis in Bora Bora. In another post, she added, “Pink vibes.”

Bora Bora is a small island in the South Pacific Northwest of Tahiti in French Polynesia. Surrounded by sand-fringed motus (islets) and a turquoise lagoon protected by a coral reef, it is known for its diving. It is also home to a dormant volcano.

This comes after the star, who will next play therapist Alma Gomez in the movie Ash And Bone 2 – also shared with DailyMail.com her diet secrets for 2023 that will save her money.

Blanca said staying slim has a lot to do with meal timing.

“I never eat late at night, this is a golden rule I adopted this summer.” I stop eating around 6 p.m. so my body can digest what I ate before I go to sleep. So no more late-night popcorn bowls or granola bars. The late night snacks are gone. When I’m super hungry, I chop up some veggies and add olive oil and sea salt. But mostly I just wait until breakfast to eat.

‘It also saves money. Because sometimes I went to Go Greek in the evening and bought frozen yogurt to treat myself. I don’t do that anymore. I’ve pretty much given up on desserts at night. Sometimes after dinner I would order a fancy dessert that cost $14. Not anymore. Sometimes those desserts in nice restaurants can cost a fortune! I once ordered a chocolate dessert that was $22. It was not worth it – too expensive and 1000 calories.

“If I want something sweet, I’ll have a decaffeinated coffee with some honey.”

The star told DailyMail.com that she is currently following the Mediterranean diet. “It’s high in protein, so there’s not a lot of carbs, which turn into sugar after metabolization,” she said.

“It just takes a lot of fresh vegetables, so I always run to the supermarket.”

Research has shown that the Mediterranean diet beats low-fat diets for weight loss.

Switching from an omnivorous diet to a plant-based diet was found to help the majority of people lose weight, possibly because of the increased fiber intake and the reduction of animal protein in favor of plant protein, among other things, according to a systematic review published in Diabetes, Metabolic Syndrome and obesity: targets and therapy in 2020.

In June, Blanca spoke about sports.

“I try to exercise for an hour a day, five days a week,” said the Mission: Possible star.

‘Cardio and strength training are the keywords. I use weights to stay tight. Ten pound dumbbells are great for toning.

“Some weeks are challenging to keep up with the routine. I try to be kind to myself when I can’t do a routine, and know that even one day or five minutes of exercise a day is 100% better than nothing.”

“Sometimes I just walk around my neighborhood for 15 minutes when I don’t have time to go to the gym.

‘I also have a walking app, so walking to the car or going to the gas station helps, everything is correct.’

And she’s got some diet tricks, too.

“I eat grilled foods over fried foods. It is healthier for the heart and lowers cholesterol.

“High cholesterol is in my family gene. So I try to work on what I can that is within my control. I love fries, so sometimes it’s not easy.’

And she excludes meat and sugar.

“Since two months I have decided to go on a pescetarian lifestyle, which is a temporary change.

That means no meat, no chicken and only seafood. I like fish so this works for me. I often order the grilled salmon at restaurants with a side of vegetables.

‘Also I don’t eat sugar, so no desserts, no cake, no ice cream, no thanks! It’s just not worth it to me. Every time I eat dessert, I have to train for another hour and that’s too much time.

‘I only eat sugar from fruit and that’s great because I love apples and strawberries.

‘I think it’s important to detoxify the body from time to time and also to shock the metabolism. I feel less bloated, more regular and more energetic.’

And she says the advice to drink more water actually works.

‘Not only is it good for our organs, but I notice that it also helps my skin. Day pimples. The best way to know if we’re drinking enough is to take your body weight and divide it by two, the result is the number of grams we need for that day.’

And she also shared that reducing stress is also very helpful for weight loss.

“Take it one day at a time,” said the star who grew up in Washington state.

‘Stress can get in our way, but every small step we take makes a difference. Keep it simple! Be kind to yourself.’
