Bizarre TLC dating show Love and Translation forces single women to SNIFF sweaty topless bachelors in a gross bid to find love – leaving them HORRIFIED by the ‘sweaty’ smells

A group of single women are invited to investigate their potential love interests to find out if they can forge connections with the eligible bachelors through pheromones in the latest episode of TLC’s bizarre new dating show Love and Translation.

The series has taken a unique approach to finding romance – after quickly revealing in the first episode that none of the singletons could communicate through the same shared language.

The show’s third episode follows the group as they investigate whether scents can get them a date.

But unsurprisingly, not all men give off pleasant smells, with one man brutally singled out for his ‘terrible’ stench in a preview clip shared exclusively with DailyMail.com.

Love and Translation bachelors Dylan, Kahlil and Tripp take off their tops as they wait for the women to approach

The teaser begins with blindfolded contestant Jhenyfer, 24, as she slowly approaches 30-year-old Tripp.

The Brazilian native doesn’t hold back her reaction and cringes as she admits that he smelled bad.

“Number three is terrible,” she cringes.

Speaking to presenter Sangita Patel, 45, Jhenyfer then reveals she is most attracted to boy number two, Kahlil.

After digesting the news, 24-year-old Kahlil proudly confesses, “I didn’t even shower today!”

Next up is 20-year-old Italian single Sara, who has more luck with the men’s body odors.

In her confessional she says, “For me, the smell of a person can help you understand many things.”

After approaching all three single men, she chooses Dylan, 21, as the bachelor with a scent she is most attracted to.

Explaining her decision, she explains, “He gave me a lot of good sensations and I felt something special.”

Pheromones are chemicals that animals and people use to communicate. Our body releases pheromones through sweat, urine, semen, breast milk and vaginal fluid.

Although animals release pheromones to attract a mate, the question remains whether the same can be said for humans.

Earlier this month, Dylan revealed to DailyMail.com that the three bachelors used their remaining senses to communicate – after it became clear the women couldn’t speak English.

“If you can’t use language, you have to resort to other senses to communicate,” he said.

‘So we exhausted all other options. Everything else in the tool belt was pulled out.”

Kahlil added: “I think touch was the best substitute we had.

‘You can put someone at ease through touch, for example by dancing. And it feels natural.”

The Texas native continued, “I feel like in a way, touching was our most helpful form of communication. And I mean, sometimes it would lead to more kissing and some other extra stuff or something.

“I think it was one of the most useful things we did.”

The latest episode of Love & Translation airs Sunday, February 4 at 10pm ET/PT on TLC
