Bindi Irwin has revealed that her daughter Grace Warrior, who turns two later this month, is a ‘miracle’ baby for her and husband Chandler Powell.
The 24-year-old wildlife conservationist spoke for the first time on Wednesday about her decade-long fight against endometriosis, a painful condition that can make it difficult for women to have children.
Bindi urged her followers to think carefully before asking women ‘when will they have more children’ because you never know if they have fertility problems, adding that she feels lucky to have had Grace.
While she did not go into detail about her pregnancy, by describing her daughter as a “miracle” she was perhaps hinting that giving birth was never a guarantee for her.

“Things may look good on the outside looking through the window of someone’s life, however, that is not always the case,” Bindi wrote in her post.
“Please be kind and pause before asking me, or any woman, when we will have more children. After everything that has happened to my body, I feel tremendously grateful to have our beautiful daughter. She feels like the miracle of our family,” she said.
According IVF Australiaendometriosis can affect a woman’s chances of getting pregnant.
Severe endometriosis can distort the tubes and ovaries and can block the release of the egg by causing scar tissue or cysts. However, although mild endometriosis is, in some cases, associated with infertility, it is not known how this happens,’ the organization states on its website.

The daughter of the late Steve ‘the crocodile hunter’ Irwin opened up about her battle with the disease in a lengthy Instagram post on Wednesday morning.
She also shared a photo of herself from her hospital bed, saying she wanted to raise awareness and help other women who might be suffering from the condition.
The Crikey! It’s Irwins star explained how the surgeon at the Seckin Endometriosis Center in New York City had removed a total of thirty-seven lesions and one “chocolate cyst,” a term for a cyst filled with menstrual blood.
While she didn’t go into detail about her pregnancy, by describing her daughter as a “miracle” she may have hinted that giving birth was never a guarantee for her.
She also wanted to draw attention to the fact that doctors often don’t take the condition seriously enough, noting that a doctor had once told her that pain was just a normal part of being a woman.
“For ten years I have battled insurmountable fatigue, pain and nausea. Trying to remain a positive person and hiding the pain has been a long road,” she began.
‘These last ten years have included many tests, doctor visits, scans, etc.’
Bindi continued: ‘A doctor told me it was just something you deal with as a woman and I gave up completely, trying to function through the pain.
‘I didn’t find answers until a friend, Leslie Mosier, helped put me on the path to getting my life back. I decided to have endometriosis surgery.’

Bindi revealed that her surgeon’s first words after she woke up from the procedure were: ‘How did you live in so much pain?’
She said having this ‘validation’ from a medical professional after years of doctors taking her pain away was an ‘indescribable’ feeling, before thanking her family and friends who had encouraged her to find answers.
‘Thanks to the doctors and nurses who believed in my pain,’ she added. “I am on the road to recovery and the gratitude I feel is overwhelming.”
“For those who question the canceled plans, unanswered messages and absence, I had been pouring every ounce of energy I had left into our daughter and family,” she said.
