Bindi Irwin makes exciting ‘family announcement’ amid rumors she is pregnant with her second child
Bindi Irwin has revealed how a rhino named ‘DJ’ has become ‘part of the family’.
The 24-year-old wildlife warrior took to Instagram to make the announcement Monday by sharing a photo of the African animal.
“Meet DJ our beloved rhino at Australia Zoo on our new YouTube,” Bindi wrote, promoting the zoo on Instagram.

Bindi then whispered in the YouTube video that DJ has been at the Australia Zoo for many years and that he is a beloved mainstay at the zoo.
‘We feel very lucky because behind us is a magnificent DJ. Now any day spent with DJ is a good day,” Bindi said.
He’s an amazing rhino and we love DJ with all our hearts. DJ has been with us for many years and he really feels like part of our family,” he added.
“Meet DJ our beloved rhino at Australia Zoo on our new YouTube,” Bindi wrote, promoting the zoo on Instagram.
Bindi went on to call DJ an ‘awesome’ rhino and dad in the park.
The wildlife star and Chandler detailed the threats facing rhinos in the wild.
“These guys are facing a lot of pressure, from habitat destruction to illegal poaching. It is really devastating what is happening to rhinos in the wild,” he said.
Rhinos are often the victims of poaching, as their horn is used in traditional medicine in some cultures.
Bindi sparked more pregnancy rumors earlier this month when she encouraged her fans to have a “cheat day” in an Instagram post.

The couple posed for photos at The Crocodile Lounge in Queensland alongside Chandler’s family from Florida while holding baby Grace.
In all the photos, Bindi was strategically standing with her belly covered by the three-tiered birthday cake decorated with wild animals.
‘There’s 100% a scone in that oven,’ wrote one fan, while another said: ‘Looks like Bindi is hiding something behind that cake!’
