Billionaire heiress Dorothy Wang has criticized Round Swamp grocery store in the Hamptons after discovering a “racially inappropriate” item in her groceries.
While sampling some of the dishes, the former Rich Kids of Beverly Hills and Bling Empire star revealed she bought a bag of “Kung Pow” chips.
“I don’t think they’re racially appropriate,” she said in a TikTok video on Sunday.
“Should I try this even though I feel like it’s cultural appropriation?”
When asked if she usually eats tortilla chips, she added, “Tortilla chips and kung POW chips are not the same. Maybe if they called them properly ‘kung pao chips,’ then they would be the same as tortilla chips.
‘There is always room for more cultural sensitivity/accuracy.’

After taking a bite, Wang said, “There’s something not traditional about them. They’re definitely stale.”
Wang went on to eat the chicken salad dip, guacamole, and beet chips, the highlights of her purchase.
Her criticism of the ‘kung pow’ chips received mixed reactions from fans.
While some questioned whether the name was actually racist, others urged her to try other dishes on the menu.
“Honestly the chips and dips are NOT worth getting there. Next time I’ll get baked goods and fruit from their garden,” said one.
“You are sophisticated and eat in fine restaurants. Round Swanp is no match for your taste buds. You have eaten in the best restaurants in the world,” wrote another.
“The spelling is only half. Why do you call them kung pow chips in the first place?”
“The beet chips are so rested. They are so tasty,” said another.
“You are so classy. I love genuine people.”
Others had a different perspective, asking, “Racially insensitive? Like you eat tortilla chips? Are those culturally insensitive to the Mexican community?”
Another wrote: ‘I wish you would use your voice to support small businesses and not tear them down.
‘It is a farm with hard workers, who do not get everything handed to them.’

But the 36-year-old reality star responded by saying she was merely giving her “honest opinion.”
“It wasn’t all bad,” she said. “I didn’t ‘put them down’ in an unfair or kind way.”
Wang paid $125 for the purchase, which included six items.
