Billie Shepherd has been branded ‘entitled’ after moaning about her lavish vacation.
The reality star, 33, and sister Sam Faiers, 32, have come under fire for making tone-deaf statements in recent weeks that have left fans wondering when they will ‘learn’ from the earlier posts.
In the latest gaffe, she complained about her “nightmare” flight home from the Maldives, revealing that the cot was broken for the flight and she had to give the seat with it to someone else because they booked extra legroom.
This meant sitting on her lap with baby Margot, four months old, for the 12-hour flight.
Still, fans were quick to scold Billie for pretending she “deserved” the seat more than the passenger who paid for legroom, noting that most travelers carry their babies on flights with no problem.
Oops: ‘Right holder’ Billie Shepherd has been criticized for complaining about her ‘nightmare’ flight from the Maldives where she had to hold daughter Margot, 4 months, in a tone-deaf blunder
Fans wrote on the internet, “Ah poor Sam and Billie didn’t get the seats they wanted on the plane. How dare another member of the audience even ask for those seats. These 2 are getting worse by the week. They really think they are better than everyone else’;
‘Ah imagine having to hold your own baby, while your mother and husband are also there and helping. She’ll have to go on holiday without the kids to recover, poor thing!’;
“Justified mom was upset that she actually had to look after her own child on a long-haul flight, further upset that someone else had booked the extra legroom seats she didn’t have so they could sit there instead of her. Here we go, it’s solved’;
“Dear Sir, you couldn’t make this up…. I didn’t even know such a thing existed, always held one of my four children on flights and just passed them on to family. These people are really not doing themselves a favour’;
‘Is she real! Why should it be a problem to hold your own baby! I flew to Barbados with my youngest aged 3 when he was 17 months old in economy class, he didn’t have his own seat, we took turns, ate when we could, once you’re a parent your needs are the most important thing in the stack! !!”
What should most long-distance people do? My heart is bleeding’; Clearly she learned nothing from the backlash her sister received. Or if she did, she just doesn’t care.’;
‘Completely oblivious to the rest of the world, mothers without homes or food for their children tonight, unbelievable’; “Could always stay home and not travel with a four-month-old.”
MailOnline has reached out to Billie’s representatives for comment.

Backlash: Fans were quick to scold Billie for pretending she “deserved” the seat more than the passenger who paid for legroom
Billie spoke about her lavish holiday with husband Greg and their kids on the latest episode of the Sam and Billie podcast, revealing that the journey back to the UK wasn’t quite as relaxing.
She revealed, “So I had to hold Margot in my arms for 12 hours — Greg and Mum helped too. I just thought ‘please don’t do this to me’.’
The mum-of-three admitted on The Sam and Billie podcast, which she hosts with her sister Sam, that she was also struggling because Margot had to have her diaper changed five times.
She admitted that it wasn’t an ideal situation at all because Margot is a squirmy baby – but they had no choice.
Billie, who also has Nellie and Arthur, has already taken Margot to Dubai and has previously revealed that long-haul flights can be “intense” with her.
She’s been under fire lately, but last week she defiantly hit back at trolls who accused her of packing free vacations.
Trolls responded to the comments under her holiday Instagrams this week to express their annoyance that she was on a “free trip.”
However, one fan defended Billie – to which the star replied herself by saying that ITV had not, in fact, paid for the outing.
The fan said after seeing the troll’s comments, “These comments are ridiculous!! Some people need a serious talk with themselves. Don’t like what you see unfollowed? It’s not a free holiday or it would say add! So what if it was???
“Most of us would jump at the chance for a free vacation to our local coast, let alone halfway around the world in paradise!” They work hard and can spend their money however they want!!! Stop being jealous people!’
Billie wrote in response: ‘Thanks ❤️ I don’t normally comment…but I can see this has caused quite a stir in my feed.
“ITV does not and never has paid for our holidays… we pay for our own holidays and we film a reality TV show that follows our lives, including tracking our holidays during filming periods.”
She also caused a stir after revealing that she bought daughter Nelly a horse for her 10th birthday fans were quick to accuse the mother-of-three of “spoiling” her daughter with the expensive gift, while others called the post a display of wealth.
Meanwhile, sister Sam came under fire in February after she complained about her ‘tiring’ holiday in Abu Dhabi and ‘tough’ flight home in first class.
The 32-year-old influencer spent a week in the UAE on a family holiday with sister Billie and mother Suzie on a PR stay to promote the country through her social media posts.
After Sam spammed her 2.5 million followers with bikini-clad snaps on golden beaches and glimpses of her luxury hotel, Sam’s post about her flight home took on a remarkable change of pace.
She shared a selfie with nine-month-old son Edward in first-class seats, highlighting how “tough” it had been for herself and partner Paul Knightley holidaying with their baby, seven-year-old son Paul and five-year-old daughter Rosie.
She began, “The truth is, going on holiday with small children is tough, especially with a crawling baby teething.”
Under fire: It comes after Sam Faiers came under fire in February after complaining about her ‘exhausting’ holiday in Abu Dhabi and ‘tough’ flight home in first class
Sam continued, “We’ve had the most wonderful time in the sun, swimming every day, exploring, seeing the sights and eating a lot of ice cream, but it’s exhausting, remember no one said it was easy.”
“As for the flight home, Edward slept maybe 1 hour out of 7.5 hours safely to say I did everything I could to keep him entertained without crying.”
She then thanked the “accommodating and friendly” Etihad Airways staff who had helped her when she felt “self-conscious” about flying with a baby.
Yet the post immediately angered its followers, who were quick to point out that the post seemed tone-deaf as many grappled with a cost-of-living crisis.
