Billie Eilish has insisted she will never talk about her sexuality again after feeling forced to ‘come out’ last year.
The chart-topper, 22, discussed her sexuality for the first time with Variety last year, revealing she was “physically attracted” to women.
Afterwards, she said she thought it was “obvious” as she thought about the world’s reaction to her confession.
In a new interview with Fashionthe Ocean Eyes singer shared that she regretted being so open, noting that the world will hear any attention to her sexuality or dating life directly from her.
Billie also suggested that the intense interest in her private life is “so unnatural” compared to other people her age.

In a new interview with Vogue , the Ocean Eyes singer shared her regrets about being so open, noting that the world will hear any attention to her sexuality or dating life directly from her
Billie expressed her frustration with the talk about her sexuality, candidly saying, “I wish no one knew anything about my sexuality or anything about my dating life. Ever, ever, ever. And I hope they never do that again.”
To further her point, she added: “And I’m never talking about my sexuality again. And I never talk about who I date anymore.”
Billie said that in the past she was too open and honest about her life, something that sometimes ‘haunts’ her.
In addition to coming out unintentionally, the star also gained a lot of attention thanks to her comments about masturbation and her love for the female body during her very open conversation with Rolling Stone in April.
The star opened up about how she “underestimates” how the things she says will be “blown up” in the world’s media.
And while others her age can learn about themselves and their sexuality, and make private mistakes without everyone knowing, the same cannot be said for the global superstar.
Billie acknowledged this point, noting that it was “so unnatural,” adding, “We’re all babies. We are all little kids growing up and learning for ourselves.”
After unknowingly revealing her sexuality, Billie said at the time that she wasn’t really a fan of the concept of coming out, explaining, “I just think, why can’t we just exist?”

“But I think it’s exciting because I think people didn’t know, so it’s cool that they know. I’m nervous to talk about it… but I’m for the girls.’
While she’d rather keep some things quiet, Billie revealed that she wants to instead use her platform to benefit good, inspiring young people, especially in America, ahead of the “most important election of our time.”
Billie joked to Vogue that it would be “amazing” to become the first female president, adding that she would like to “feel safe as a woman in my country.” Billie shared her enthusiasm for women’s rights, women’s reproductive rights and social justice. encourage others to register to vote.

For now, however, the musician is focusing on her music and her Hit Me Hard And Soft Tour, which kicked off in September.
She further confessed that she had experienced “really dark times” in the past while on tour, as she lived as if it was “temporary.”
But while she acknowledges that touring is still “kind of unpleasant,” she noted that she wanted to make touring “pleasant” after realizing she was “lonely for years” — and that Billie wasn’t “interested” in that isolation anymore .
