Bill Clinton on Monday laughed at questions about his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, saying as he was pushed away from the questioner, “I think the evidence is clear.”
The former president, 76, was in Texas on Monday to campaign on behalf of Representative Henry Cuellar in Laredo and the hopeful Michelle Vallejo of the house in the Rio Grande Valley.
During the Laredo rally, Real America’s Voice reporter Juan Mendoza asked him, “Mr. Clinton, any comment on the allegation of your alleged affiliation with Jeffrey Epstein?’
Clinton laughed and his assistant seemed to chase him out of Mendoza.
“I think the evidence is clear,” he said as he walked away.

Clinton has long been faced with questions about his connection to the millionaire pedophile financier, who hanged himself in prison in 2019 pending trial on charges of sex trafficking of minors.
Clinton invited Epstein to the White House, with the mysterious money man visiting at least 17 times between 1993 and 1995, according to logs obtained by DailyMail.com.
The former president also flew several times on Epstein’s private jet dubbed the “Lolita Express” for all the underage girls present on the flights.
Epstein’s ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell was invited to Chelsea Clinton’s wedding in July 2010.
Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison in June for conspiring with Epstein to sexually assault minors.
Clinton has never publicly commented on their friendship.

In 2019, following Epstein’s death, Clinton released a statement through his spokesperson saying that the private jet trips included stops in connection with the Clinton Foundation and that he was accompanied by staff, foundation supporters and agents of the Secret Service. service on ‘every leg of every journey.’
“President Clinton knows nothing about the horrific crimes that Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty to several years ago in Florida, or those of which he was recently charged in New York,” the statement said.
The statement said Clinton made “one brief visit” to Epstein’s New York apartment in 2002, with a “staff member and his intelligence agency.”
The two men also met at Clinton’s office in Harlem “around the same time” as the apartment visit, the statement said.
“He hasn’t spoken to Epstein in over a decade and has never been to Little St. James Island, Epstein’s New Mexico ranch, or his Florida home,” the statement read.
