Shoppers can’t get enough of a $39 trench coat from Big W that looks exactly like a designer version that costs 124 times as much.
The ‘&me Women’s Short Trench Coat’ is praised by customers for its affordable price tag and stylish design.
It also looks almost identical to the Burberry Canvas Trench Coat, which retails for an eye-watering $4,850.
Fashion influencer Genevieve bought the cheap Big W version and styled it with a white T-shirt, blue jeans, sneakers and a brown handbag – and the look impressed hundreds of people.
“I like the trench,” someone commented.
“Your outfits are beautiful,” wrote another.
The Big W product is designed with two pockets, four large buttons on the front, shoulder and wrist loops and is made of polyester.
The spring essential is so popular that it is sold out online in sizes six, eight and 10. However, sizes 12 to 18 are still available.

By comparison, the Burberry coat also has two pockets, shoulder and wrist loops, but only has two buttons on the front and three on the bottom.
The Big W version is ideal for those on a budget or who want to add a basic piece to their wardrobe.
Last month, shoppers rushed to the Australian retailer to snag a $30 version of the season’s “biggest trend.”
The $30 &me Women’s Side Stripe Pants from Big W are virtually identical to the Twill Stripe Detail Pant from luxury Australian label Bassike, which retails for $395.
Instagram account Kmart Insider shared the exciting fashion find online: ‘Basic, but you get a flexible designer vibe. If you can’t shell out nearly $400 for a designer, the Big W dupe is a good choice.”

Last month, fans called the Big W Side Stripe Pants a “solid” dupe of luxury label Bassike’s Twill Stripe Detail Pant, which retails for $395 and was dubbed the “It” fashion buy of the season
The stylish &me women’s pants are made in navy and black and have a cool white stripe along the outside.
“These pants are incredible for $30. I bought the navy blue pair yesterday, now I have to run back for the black ones.” Big W finally got some shine in their womenswear,” one woman said.
‘These pants are beautiful. They fit true to size. The material is nice and supple and has some stretch. I have the navy blue one and am considering getting the black one too,” another shopper agreed.
The ‘unreal’ design is available in sizes 6 to 18 and has an easy stretch fit for a look that is both relaxed and elegant.
Bassike’s twill trousers are made from premium nylon and polyester and while people love the quality, the price tag is out of reach for many Australians, especially in the current financial climate.
