Big W client destroys security scanners in heated explosion caught on video
An angry Big W customer has been filmed tearing apart a store’s security scanners in a frenzied outburst.
The man, who was wearing a gray tracksuit, was seen shouting at the front of the store before he began repeatedly punching the scanners.
He then broke one in half with these hands, throwing it to the ground, and then did the same for a second.

‘Do not you dare! Do not you dare!’ he was heard shouting.
The man then calmly took a piece of paper and left back inside the store.
Other shoppers had been watching but were apparently too worried to intervene as a man in a high waistcoat stood back and let the explosion unfold.
It is unclear which store in Australia the incident was filmed at, but the video was shared on Twitter on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for Big W confirmed that the incident was reported to the police.
“Our first priority is always to keep our customers and team safe. We are aware of this incident and can confirm that no one was injured, and it was reported to the police,” they told Daily Mail Australia.
“We are disappointed that a customer compromised the safety of our team and customers and we continue to ensure that everyone in our stores is treated with respect and we expect our customers to do the same when they shop in our stores.”
Some social media users dismissed the situation.
“After asserting his authority, the procurement warrior grayed out to complete his procurement mission,” wrote one.
Another added: ‘Looks like a normal retail shopping day.’
