It comes amid reports that the upcoming season of Channel Seven’s Big Brother could be its last.
According to a source, it will be the shortest season of Big Brother Australia and the last that Seven is contractually obliged to produce, leaving the license for the show up for grabs.
The season, originally titled ‘Big Brother: House of Love’, played with individual contestants in an attempt to be more like Channel Nine’s Love Island.

Unfortunately, none of the romances blossomed as the producers had hoped, forcing them to scrap the House of Love theme altogether.
Several relationships that formed have now fizzled out, but contestants have been told to keep their dating off social media to avoid spoilers.
Despite the hiccups, a Seven source is confident long-time Big Brother fans will still love the new series.
