Beyonce turns heads in a pink fringed jacket on a romantic date night with husband Jay-Z in New York City

Beyoncé turned heads in a stylish ensemble as she enjoyed a casual night out with husband Jay-Z at an event in New York City on Friday.

The 42-year-old Crazy In Love singer, who recently received 12 nominations at the People’s Choice Country Awards, flashed a small smile as she left the Hudson Yards venue with the 54-year-old Empire State Of Mind rapper.

She continued to embrace her inner cowgirl in a pastel pink tasselled coat and a semi-sheer scarf that she wrapped around her head.

Beyoncé wore a pair of pink heeled boots, which perfectly matched the color scheme of her striking look.

The star’s locks were pulled back into a low ponytail, allowing her strands to fall behind her back.

Beyonce, 42, turned heads in a fashionable ensemble as she and her husband, Jay-Z, 54, enjoyed a relaxing date night at an event in New York City on Friday.

The artist opted for minimal accessories so that the outfit would draw attention, and he also wore a pair of fashionable brown sunglasses.

She conveniently carried a pink tassel bag in her hand, in which she could store a few items she would need on her night out.

Jay-Z wore a stylish, casual outfit in light blue jeans with a dark blue sweater and a gray top.

To complete the look, the artist wore a pair of brown boots and added a statement silver necklace.

The couple, who married in 2008, were spotted together as they left the private event and headed to their next destination.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z also have three children: Blue Ivy, 12, and seven-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir.

Their latest performance comes shortly after the singer received a whopping 12 nominations for her album Cowboy Carter at the upcoming People’s Choice Country Awards.

Some of the nominees – announced earlier this week – include The Song of 2024 and The Female Song of 2024 for Texas Hold ‘Em and The Cover Song of 2024 for Jolene.

Beyoncé is also nominated for The People’s Artist of 2024, The Female Artist and The Social County Star of 2024. Cowboy Carter received a nomination for The Album of 2024.

Cowboy Carter was released earlier this year on March 29 to critical acclaim after previously being dropped.

The LP is the star’s eighth studio album and the second in a trilogy of albums, the first of which is Renaissance (2022).

Cowboy Carter reached number one positions on several charts, including the Billboard 200, US Folk Albums and US Top Country Albums.

The singles Texas Hold ‘Em and 16 Carriages were also released prior to the album. Texas Hold ‘Em also charted worldwide, reaching number one on the UK Singles and US Billboard Hot 100.

Although the album was a success, Beyoncé received criticism for her transition to the country genre.

While attending the iHeartRadio Music Awards in April 2024, she accepted the Innovator Award and addressed the backlash she received.

During her acceptance speech, the mother of three said, “You call me an innovator, and I’m very grateful for that. Innovation starts with a dream. But then you have to execute that dream, and that road can be very bumpy.”

‘Being an innovator is saying what everyone else thinks is impossible. Being an innovator often means being criticized, which often tests your mental strength.’

She added: “Being an innovator means trusting in your faith and that God will catch you and guide you.”

‘So, to all the record labels, all the radio stations, all the award shows: my hope is that we can be more open to the joy and liberation that comes from enjoying art without prejudice…’

Before Cowboy Carter’s fall, a source told DailyMail.com: ‘She knows there will be resistance from those who want her to stay on a narrow path, but she doesn’t care.’

“It’s actually made her more daring. By the time summer is over, her opponents will know the difference between yee and haw.”

In 2016, Beyoncé released the song Daddy Lessons, which also took a dive into the country genre.

“Bey was motivated to make a country album after seeing how much fans loved her single ‘Daddy Lessons’ and her performance at the CMAs,” the insider said.

“She wanted to use her platform to shine a spotlight on the contributions of African Americans to genres that they’ve been excluded from. She spent months writing and researching.”

The 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards will take place next month on September 26 and will air live on NBC and Peacock.

Other artists who received the most nominations for the big night include Kane Brown, Kacey Musgraves, Luke Bryan, Morgan Wallen and Shaboozey.
