Beyonce goes country! Superstar’s fans deem Cowboy Carter ‘album of the year’ minutes after the 27-track epic featuring Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus is released

Beyonce thrilled her fans on Friday with the release of her first country album, Cowboy Carter.

The 42-year-old superstar entered her country era with her eighth record, which features a 27-song tracklist and runs 80 minutes.

The record features a modern version of 78-year-old Dolly Parton’s classic 1973 hit “Jolene,” in which Beyonce warns, “I’m warning you, don’t come for my man.”

Miley Cyrus, 31, is also one of the big names to lend her vocals to Beyoncé’s new album, on the track II Most Wanted.

In addition to Dolly, there are also spoken word interludes from country legend Willie Nelson, 90. They are among a slew of music stars to appear on the album.

Dolly and Willie serve as DJs on Country Carter’s abstract KNTRY radio station. They introduce several songs on the album.

Beyonce’s new version of Jolene is a follow-up to Lemonade’s ‘Sorry’, in which she sings about a ‘Becky with the good hair’.

At number nine, Dolly begins by asking, “Do you know that guy with the nice hair you’re singing about?”

‘Reminded me of someone I used to know, except she has flaming auburn hair. Bless her heart! Just a hair of a different color, but it still hurts.’

Meanwhile, Beyonce twists the lyrics of the original as she sings, “You’re beautiful beyond compare/It takes more than beauty to catch the eyes to come between a family and a happy man.”

“Jolene, I’m a woman too/The games you play are nothing new/So you don’t want to argue with me, Jolene.”

“I’ve been deeply in love for 20 years/I raised that man, I raised his kids/I know my man better than he knows himself,” Beyoncé continues.

“I can easily understand why you’re attracted to my man, but you don’t want the smoke/So shoot someone else/You heard me!”

The song appears to pick up where Beyonce left off on her song “Sorry” from 2016’s Lemonade, in which she sings to a woman who has slept with her husband.

Although she has never confirmed that the lyrics are about her husband Jay-Z, there has long been speculation that the song is about an alleged affair.

‘He only wants me when I’m not there. He better call Becky with the nice hair,” she sings.

Post Malone, 28, is another big name to appear on the album; he also lends his voice to the song Levii’s Jeans.

She has also collaborated with Linda Martell, the first black female solo artist to perform at the Grand Ole Opry, and with black country musicians Willie Jones, Rhiannon Giddens and Tanner Adell.

The singer will also cover the classic Beatles song Blackbird. An interpolation of the Beach Boys song Good Vibrations also appears in her song Ya Ya.

Excited fans praised the superstar online following the album’s release.

“Well, I guess so!” Parton said. “I think she recorded ‘Jolene’ and I think it will probably be on her country album, which I’m really excited about.

‘I love her! She is a beautiful girl and a great singer,” she raved.

Parton said she and Beyoncé have “messaged back and forth” over the years, leading up to the cover.

“And she and her mom were like fans, and I was always touched that they were fans, and I always thought she was amazing,” Parton added.

Beyoncé previously teased that she was “collaborating with some brilliant artists that I deeply respect,” prompting fans to speculate about a song with Taylor Swift.
