A celebrity beauty expert has revealed a clever three-product trick to hide blemishes and blackheads, without anyone knowing you’re wearing makeup.
Mikayla Nogueira, 24, a makeup artist and TikTok star from Massachusetts, has repeatedly gone viral with her handy beauty tip videos, and her latest clip detailing how to secretly hide unwanted pimples is no exception.
In the video, which has racked up more than 3.8 million views in just 24 hours, Mikayla expertly details how to hide a blemish on those days when you don’t want to go full makeup.
‘Let’s say you don’t actually wear makeup, but you have an unwanted visitor. Let me show you how to cover it up, I promise it’s easy,” the clip begins, showing off her own red pimple between her nose and lip.
The first step, Mikayla advises, is to make sure the blemish, and the area around it, is completely clean.
A celebrity beauty expert has revealed a clever three-product trick to hide blemishes and blackheads, without anyone knowing you’re wearing makeup.
Mikayla Nogueira, 24, of Massachusetts, reveals in her video that the process begins by cleaning the stain and the surrounding area.
Next, the beauty professional begins to apply one of three products: a green color concealer.
‘You’re going to start by making sure the area is clean. I use only a little [toner] pad and go directly over the top of the area to make sure there’s nothing on top of it,’ he explains.
Next, the beauty professional begins to apply one of three products: a green color concealer. Although she opts for the inexpensive $4 Camo Color Corrector from Elf Cosmetics, she notes that she can “use any brand” she wants.
“Don’t put it directly on your face,” she notes, no doubt because touching makeup applicators directly to your face, particularly blemishes, can lead to the spread of germs and bacteria. ‘I’m going to put some in my hand.’
After dabbing some of the product on the back of her hand with a doe-foot applicator, Mikayla takes a small, fluffy brush to apply the color corrector to her face.
‘[Take a] fluffy brush [and] I’m going to take some of that color corrector and start applying it on top of that blemish area,’ she explains as she gently dabs the product onto her pimple and the surrounding area.
‘Just light, slow movements on top. And as you can see, it has led to a dramatic reduction in the amount of redness.’
Mikayla advises that the amount of product used is key because ‘if you use too much green it can look green, so we’re using too little.’
After applying the green color concealer, Mikayla moves on to the concealer, explaining that she opts for a “matte makeup,” the $50 NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer, for this type of on-the-spot makeup job, because it’s less likely for ‘ slip’ on the face.

Mikayla uses a ‘fluffy brush’ to get the product on the back of her hand, before ‘spreading it on top of that blemished area’, being careful not to use too much so it doesn’t look green.
After applying the green concealer, Mikayla moves on to the concealer, explaining that she opts for a “matte concealer in a pot” that doesn’t “glide all over” her face.
“I’m going to use the exact same brush and dip it right into the pot, get a little bit of product out of it,” she says.
Similar to how she lightly “fade” the color concealer over her blemish, Mikayla repeats the same technique with the concealer; however, after applying the product to her face, she begins to blend with her finger.
“Put a little concealer on the blemish, and I like to press it in with my finger because it warms it up and melts it away,” she reveals.
The final step in Mikayla’s hack is a light dusting of loose powder to set everything in place, et voila!
‘And now, you can go out there and worry less about it, you know?’ she says herself, as she shows off her expertly concealed pimple, which has all but disappeared from her makeup-free face.
Mikayla’s quick and easy video tutorial was quickly flooded with praise from appreciative commenters, many of whom thanked the influencer for sharing such effective advice.
‘That green concealer made a world of difference, great tip!’ one person wrote.
‘This just saved my life!’ added another.

By the end of the process, Mikayla’s pimple had completely disappeared, with no need for further makeup on the rest of her face.
A third chimed in: ‘I wish I had had this kind of information as a teenager!’
Mikayla also offered a few more words of wisdom in the comments, answering several questions from curious followers.
First, the beauty pro advised that anyone who is particularly concerned about the “spread of bacteria” should use a different brush for the color corrector and concealer steps.
‘If you don’t want to use a brush due to the spread of bacteria… just use two! One brush per step,” she wrote.
When asked what exactly differentiates a ‘fluffy brush’ from a ‘dense brush’, the content creator replied: ‘The number of bristles and the firmness.’
This is not the first time that the influencer surprises the Internet with one of her beauty tricks.
In August, Mikayla shared a technique to hide acne all over her face using what she called the “sticky method” that once again required just three products.
“Here’s how to perfectly cover acne with the adhesive method,” she explained at the beginning of that video. ‘Let’s do these [blemishes] they seem to not even exist on the face.
“It’s called the sticky method because our face is about to get really sticky.”
