Unbelievable act cop Beau Lamarre-Condon did a day after allegedly shooting dead Channel 10 presenter Jesse Baird Luke Davies – as police make a grim discovery in search for missing bodies

Suspected killer Beau Lamarre-Condon is set to undergo surgery after being accused of shooting TV presenter Jesse Baird and his beloved flight attendant Luke Davies.

The celebrity hunter turned police officer was said to have been booked for surgery on his abdomen last Tuesday, 24 hours after Mr Baird, 26, and Mr Davies, 29, were allegedly murdered.

A timeline outlined by NSW Police Commissioner David Hudson yesterday claims Lamarre-Condon, 28, shot the lovers at Mr Baird’s home in Paddington, in Sydney’s east, at 9.50am last Monday.

Lamarre-Condon is said to have rented a white Toyota HiAce van from Sydney Airport before returning to the $3 million rented terrace house to collect their bodies on Monday evening, when the van was caught on CCTV outside the house.

On Tuesday, police claimed the officer made “partial confessions” about the killings to an acquaintance, but the alarm was only raised on Wednesday after the couple’s bloodied clothes and belongings were found in a container in Cronulla, in Sydney’s south.

Lamarre-Condon reportedly went to the hospital for day surgery last Tuesday – a day after the alleged shooting. 2GB reported.

The revelation comes after police revealed blood had been discovered in bushland as the search continues for the bodies of Mr Baird and Mr Davies.

Police allege 28-year-old Beau Lamarre-Condon shot the lovers at Jesse Baird’s home in Paddington, Sydney’s east, at 9.50am on Monday

The day after the operation, Lamarre-Condon is said to have driven the van 180km south of Sydney to Bungonia with a female acquaintance to a remote property in an apparent attempt to dump the bodies at one of several dams.

He is said to have purchased and used an angle screwdriver to cut a padlock to gain access to the property while the acquaintance remained for 30 minutes.

He later drove back to Sydney and is said to have bought weights at a Sydney department store at 11pm on Wednesday before returning to Bungonia alone.

Police did not specify which department store would be open at that time on Wednesday evening.

The van is believed to have left the Bungonia area around 4.30am on Thursday in a possible attempt to move the bodies to a new location, police said.

“We believe it is possible that, in that gap in the timeline, the suspect may have returned to that property and retrieved the bodies and disposed of them elsewhere,” Mr Hudson said.

“We’re still working on that theory and we’ve obviously started and done significant research around that.”

He is then said to have driven back to Sydney to his uncle Brian Lamarre’s home in Grays Point in Sydney’s south before dawn on Friday morning and later reported himself to Bondi police station at 10.39am.

He was later charged with the murder of the two missing men.

Police revealed on Tuesday that blood had been found at Grays Point Oval, in Sydney’s south, as the search continues for the bodies of the missing couple.

The blood was noticed by a passerby and the police immediately sealed off the area.

Police suspect the blood may have come from killing deer in the area. news.com.au reported.

On Monday evening, a close friend of Jesse Baird dismissed suggestions that Lamarre-Condon was a former lover of the roving Studio 10 reporter.

‘Jesse briefly met with Beau. He was not his ex-boyfriend,” TV producer Isaac Muller told ABC’s 7:30 p.m. show.

“They never dated.”

Corey-Dean Thorpe, a close friend of Mr Baird who was previously in a relationship with him for five years, told Daily Mail Australia that the rumors about Mr Baird and Lamarre-Condon’s budding lovers were untrue.

He said Lamarre-Condon had feelings for Mr Baird that were not reciprocated, and Baird was eventually forced to end their friendship when the serving NSW police officer posted videos on Instagram falsely implying they were a couple.

Last November, Mr Thorpe even assisted Mr Baird in drafting a text message to Lamarre-Condon telling the senior officer that he had overstepped the boundaries of their friendship and that they should no longer see each other.

The text concluded: ‘I would appreciate it if you did not contact me.’

Channel 10 news presenter Hugh Riminton said Baird was enjoying the new relationship with Davies, who had only moved to Sydney from Brisbane four months ago.

“He had found this new love and he had told so many of my colleagues that he was happy to find Luke,” Riminton said.

Police say they are now focusing on finding the bodies of the missing men.

“No one has led us to the body so it’s very time consuming,” NSW Police Commissioner Karen Webb told Nine’s Today show on Tuesday.

“There’s a law: no parole, no body… We really have to find Jesse and Luke.

“Detectives are examining every piece of evidence, taking new evidence and truly leaving no stone unturned to try and locate Jessie and Luke.”
