Autistic boy, 11, is ‘sexually assaulted’ at Tenerife resort as boy’s family ‘chase suspect out of hotel when they saw attack’

An 11-year-old autistic boy was sexually assaulted at a Tenerife resort before his family chased the suspect out of the hotel when they saw the vicious attack – which happened ‘in the blink of an eye’, according to reports.
The child, believed to be from Ireland, was playing with other children at the hotel in the popular resort of Costa Adeje when he was allegedly targeted.
During the attack, the suspect allegedly put his hands down the boy’s pants and grabbed his genitals. The sun reports.
It was captured on CCTV and happened in full view of the child’s family, with a relative reportedly chasing the man away.
The suspect, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is said to have been wandering around the hotel for a number of days in advance.

Spanish police have now arrested the man, who is reportedly currently appearing in court in Tenerife over the incident.
A source said DublinLive: ‘The family is shocked and shocked by what has happened. What was a wonderful family vacation quickly turned into a vacation from hell.
“They are shocked that the attack happened right before their eyes. One of the family members chased the man out of the hotel.
‘They spent the last few days of their holiday between the police station and the courthouse.
‘They would like to warn other families holidaying in Tenerife to keep an eye on their children at all times as this happened in the blink of an eye.’
