Mabilia appeared in Melbourne District Court on Monday and pleaded guilty to trafficking methamphetamine and GHB.

Police arrested the 28-year-old on March 1 after he was found sleeping in a stolen Audi Q5 in Richmond.

Officers searched the car and found a sports bag filled with meth, vials of GHB and counterfeit money in the trunk.

Mabilia was charged and released on bail after pleading guilty to possession of counterfeit money.

On March 17, police found Mabilia again in another stolen car at The Basin. He was also found with two knives, scales, dexamphetamine, meth, an imitation firearm and the drug 1,4-Butanediol, better known as ‘bute’.

His defence lawyer told the court that Mabilia did not know the car was stolen as he had been given it by a friend so he could live in the car. Herald Sun reported.

The court also heard that Mabilia planned to leave his life of crime and join his father as a painter in Wonthaggi once he is released from prison.

The father of two, who grew up in Frankston, had multiple convictions and turned to drugs after splitting from his partner.

He was sentenced to 113 days – almost four months – in pre-trial detention and was released on a 12-month community service order following conviction.

Mabilia avoided an eight-month prison sentence by pleading guilty to all charges.

Police shared the photo of Mabilia and described him as “185cm tall with a medium build, blue eyes and dark hair.”

Social media users flooded the Facebook post with many commenting on Mabilia’s striking good looks.

“Are you trying to lock him up or hook him?” someone responded.

“Accused of breaking single mothers’ hearts on Facebook,” wrote a second person.

“He’s probably just busy signing contracts with Vogue magazine and is now on his way to play Simon Hastings’ half-brother in season 2 of Bridgerton,” a third added.
