Golden State Warriors star Andrew Wiggins’ girlfriend slams social media rumors amid the NBA champion’s continued absence for “personal reasons”
There has been no word on when Andrew Wiggins will return to the Golden State Warriors, nor has he made any comment since his leave of absence; The same cannot be said of his girlfriend.
Mychal Johnson, who has been the subject of rumors about Wiggins’ time away from the reigning champs, has not tried to stay out of the spotlight.
Johnson posted on TikTok on a Sunday captioned “Just so we’re clear #idgaf,” in which he said “Just to clear the air, I don’t give a shit how no one feels about me.” Keep feeling it bite.
He previously called the internet a “sick place” amid the rumours, though Wiggins has not commented on the matter.
Wiggins hasn’t played since the Feb. 13 win against Washington for “personal reasons” and his schedule for returning, if at all this season, is unknown.

While the striker has been away, rumors about the reason for his absence have proliferated.
Wiggins and Johnson have been dating for nearly a decade after meeting in high school and sharing two daughters, Amyah, 4, and Alayah, who turns one next month.
On Twitter last week, Johnson called the internet “sick.”
“The internet really is a sick place,” Johnson wrote along with a vomit emoji.
He shared another post the next day, adding: ‘The furthest thing from the truth. It’s sad that you even do this.’
Draymond Green also addressed the rumors on his self-titled podcast last week, saying “sometimes people gross me out.”
A Warriors player said the athletic that ‘what you are dealing with is something real (expletive)’.
Earlier this month, Warriors coach Steve Coach was semi-optimistic about Wiggins’ return, insisting the team was giving him the time and space he needed.
“I think that’s the hope (that he comes back), but there’s really nothing to report,” Kerr said before the overtime win against the Milwaukee Bucks on March 11.
We are giving him his space while he deals with something that is much more important than a game.
