Amber Turner says Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins left her ‘covered in scars for life’ and looking like she’d ‘come back from war’: ‘I would rather have my boobs done again’

Amber Turner has said her appearance on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins left her ‘covered in scars for life’ and compared it to the return of ‘war’.

The 30-year-old The Only Way Is Essex star appeared in the latest series of the grueling celebrity military-style version of the show, which is currently airing on Channel 4.

She lasted until Sunday’s episode, when she retired from the show ahead of a tough kidnapping challenge.

Speaking about the experience, Amber said it was ‘excruciating’ and admitted she would rather have another boob job and facelift than have to go through the process again.

Speak with The sun, she said: ‘I would rather have my breasts redone and a facelift than have to go through the pain I was going through – my body was in shock because I was in so much pain. I had jungle rot on my feet and it was excruciating pain. I’ve never experienced such pain before.’

She added: ‘I had lost a lot of weight, I was black and blue and so bruised – I’m scarred for life. I looked like a broken woman, it was like coming back from the war. Gaunt, like a skeleton, my teeth popping out of my face.”

Speaking about her decision to end the show, Amber explained: ‘I set a goal for myself to get to the stage where they kidnap you. I expected them to put a bag on my head, and that was honestly the only thing I was worried about.

“It sounds so silly because it was such a small thing, but I’m claustrophobic and I don’t do well in small spaces, and I knew they were going to try to kidnap us and put a bag on my head. “I just thought, ‘Physically I can’t do that, I’d rather give up my bracelet before that happens,’ so I took my bracelet off.”

It comes after Amber was hit by claims she became close to one of the SAS Who Dares Wins instructors while filming the series.

It was reported she exchanged ‘flirty’ messages with 40-year-old Chris Oliver, leaving his long-term girlfriend furious.

The sun claimed Amber was confronted by Jasmine Shergold, 33 – who has been with former Special Forces operator Chris for a decade – over reported interactions on Instagram.

A source told the publication: ‘Chris and Amber had messaged each other and Jasmine found them. The messages were very chatty and conversational, but some seemed a little flirty…

‘Chris had also sent a photo and talked about going out to London with Amber. It came as a shock to Jasmine.

‘She was understandably angry and wanted to know what exactly was going on. Chris had asked for Amber’s phone number, so Jasmine called her and they spoke.”

Jasmine then reportedly asked Amber to delete her messages, including her phone number.

The source added that Amber was “mortified” when she heard from Jasmine and apologized for not knowing Chris even had a partner.

The insider added that nothing happened between Chris and Amber and it was all just messages.

Jasmine reportedly believed what Amber told her and decided she hadn’t lied to her, but still found it disturbing that she had found messages from another woman on her partner’s social media.

It comes after Amber’s recent split from ex-boyfriend Dan Edgar, with the fallout from the messy breakup playing out in the current series of TOWIE.

Dan, 33, reportedly heard “rumors” that she was talking to someone else before their breakup, which Amber has reportedly denied.

A source claimed the on-off TOWIE couple ‘hit the rocks’ when Amber filmed Celebrity SAS in Vietnam last year, when Dan is said to have heard the rumours.

The source said The sun: ‘Dan and Amber were on the rocks when she was filming SAS last year and Dan heard rumors from several people that Amber might be talking to someone else behind his back.

‘But he had no evidence to back it up and Amber denied it – and still denies it. It was a big problem between them and the lack of trust eventually caused them to break up.”

The on-off TOWIE couple split earlier this year, with Amber confirming their split in May – just five months after buying their ‘dream’ home in Essex.
