Amanda Bynes says she's ending her podcast after one episode in an effort to “have a consistent job.”

The 37-year-old actress revealed via Instagram Stories on Thursday that she is scaling back her podcasting efforts so she can find more consistent work as a manicurist.

The Thousand Oaks, California, resident said the first episode of her podcast, titled Amanda Bynes & Paul Sieminski: The Podcast, “did really well” after its release on December 9.

“I was actually surprised and of course I went ahead after friends encouraged me to do so,” Bynes said of the first podcast, which featured tattoo artist Dahlia Moth.

The Hairspray actress continued, “When I think about it, I'd rather get my manicure license and have a steady job. Instead, I'm going to follow that path.”

The actress revealed via Instagram Stories on Thursday that she is putting her podcasting efforts on hold so she can find more consistent work as a manicurist.

Bynes concluded her statement to her followers by saying, “Thank you for following my journey!”

Bynes wore black sunglasses, with her bleach blonde locks pushed back and down during a daytime outing during a rainy week in Southern California.

She continued, “So maybe one day, if we can get those kinds of guests on the show, we'll resume the podcast. But for now I'm going to think about it for a while.'

However, just a day later, Bynes took to her Instagram Story on Monday and revealed that she decided to “move on.”

“So I wanted to post about how I was feeling last night after I posted that we were pausing the podcast,” Bynes began. “I felt very sad and in a very bad mood because the podcast was something I was actually really looking forward to filming next week.”

She clarified in the caption, “Filming this Friday, not next Friday!”

Bynes continued that the podcast was “something that I was really excited and happy about, so I talked to some friends and they all said we should keep going, so we're going to continue with the podcast.”

She added, “I think podcasts just take time to grow and build a following so I shouldn't have said what I said last night about not getting the kind of guests we were looking forward to because you know but never. , we might get them in the future and the guys we have on the lineup are actually a lot of fun.”
